2. •A short 5 minute Social Realism film
•Our short films begins showing the lives of two young female
characters whom we learn to be best friends. However one
day one of the girls betrays her best friend and is peer
pressured to kiss her friends crush. A video of this is sent to
her, and she begins to start bullying her friend for doing such
a horrible thing to her. However this results in to the victim
committing suicide which becomes a shock to everyone.

3. •For our film review we felt it was necessary to research
and look into other existing ones on the market to help
give us some ideas. For example we were able to find the
codes and conventions from the magazine Empire of film
reviews.

5. •Again we wanted to make sure we get the codes and
conventions right for our poster so we looked into other
Social Realism poster designs. As we had our twist plot of a
horror ending we decided to design our poster on this idea
too. This fully alerts the audience that our film is not just
Social Realism and that there will be a scare.

7. •Without giving to much away we slightly show the
audience in our film poster clues about what happens in our film. This
leaves the audience questioning and wanting them
to watch the film to find out what these hints could possibly
be. For example the tagline, the silhouette, the hand.. These are all
questions that we wanted to leave the audience asking themselves.
•Our film review goes in to great detail of opinions and feedback about
our film. It shows what the positive and negatives were about our film.
This is helpful for the audience when deciding if this film is one they
would like to watch.
•The film is our final product that we have successfully produced and
edited together. This suggests that the review and poster sold our
film well to the audience engaging them to watch
