2. nce upon a time…
A girl named Amy Lucas was seeking a job.
A familiar story we know, but bear with us now.
After spending 2012 in London, it was time for Amy to crack
the Sydney job market once again. Was she nervous?
No.
She was
3. Because she knew it was only a matter of
time before she found some like-minded
creative and clever people who would
want her on their TEAM.
4. But why was that?
I suppose some of her qualities worth mentioning include:
• INTERPERSONAL
• EXCELLENT COMMUNICATOR
• ORGANISED
• RIDICULOUSLY ATTENTIVE TO DETAIL
• HARD-WORKING LIKE A MOFO
• FLEXIBLE
• PASSIONATE
5. We should also add: full of original
and creative ideas, exceptional
writing skills, time management whiz,
well-spoken and presented, can-do
attitude, experienced in web content management,
full of beans, easy-going, keen interest in digital and social
media, able to coordinate hectic staff, client and media
schedules, self-motivated, thrives in team atmosphere, honest,
clever researcher, self-disciplined, takes initiative, loves to love
her work, warm and cheerful, follows through on things, can easily
produce snappy editorial and online content, likes ticking off the to-do list,
very into culture, art, design, fashion and travel, charming, light-
hearted, level-headed, enjoys a challenge, able to manage people, respectful, open with
and to ideas, able to grasp information quickly, eager to learn new skills, loves nature and the outdoors,
genuinely likes people and cares, smells nice.
6. Perhaps let’s backtrack and see where these
things came from.
Amy was born on the 28th of August, 1986.
After completing a Bachelor of
Media in Writing at Macquarie
University, Sydney...
.. she set off to explore the world,
checking out more than 40 countries
over the space of four years.
7. But not all at once. Throughout this period, Amy
also worked very hard back down under and gained
invaluable experience in publicity, copywriting,
communications and web content management.
In fact, some of her travels resulted from her being
sent overseas to represent her employers on media
familiarisations.
