drinking alcohol?
1. Stay hydrated!
2. Know your limit!
3. Don’t drink alone!
4. Space your drinks over a time!
5. Don’t leave your drinks unattended!

7. Ask what’s in your drink!
8. Eat while you drink!

- Knowing how much alcohol you can consume
without terrible effects is helpful.
- If you reach your limit, you can stop drinking
- If a friend knows your limit, they can stop you
as well.
- Try counting methods such as counting bottle
caps and tally marks.
18. Don’t Drink Alone!
- Drinking with a friend can help with your
accountability
- They can stop you when you reach your limit
- They can step in and make smart decisions
when you are incapable of doing so

- Try only consuming one drink per hour
- Take sips of your drink
- Drinking a nonalcoholic drink between
each alcoholic drink

that alcohol is undetectable
23. Eat While or Before You Drink!
- Eating prevents the body from quickly
absorbing the alcohol into your system (slows
down absorption)
- Try eating food with lots of protein (ex. cheese
and peanuts)
