maximize\" their economic and intellectual contribution to society? what kind of improve? To
maximize is a huge verb, it means there is no way to provide a higher or better contribution, Is it
true? I would change these words and express it in a different way, maybe:
\"To offer competitive educational opportunities to adult students in Maryland, the nation, and
the world, pursuing the global standard of excellence in adult education. By offering academic
programs that are respected, affordable and accessible technologically and through a variety of
face-to-face formats, UMUC broadens the range of career opportunities available to students,to
channel their lives, and to improve their economic and intellectual contributions to Maryland, the
nation, and the world.\"
Now, vision is the place (philosophically talking) where you see yourself in few years, so it
might be ambitious but realistic at the same time. I do not see realistic \"to lead next generation
in high education\", something more appropriate might be:
\"Be a referent in the Next Generations graduate of High Education\".
