13. Self-Introductory Speech
Goal: to introduce yourself to your classmates
Choose an object to convey to your audience a part of who
you are. Choose something unusual or significant that will
help us remember you.
Provide general info but don’t make it the focus of the
speech -- we want to start getting to know you.
Should run 3 minutes. Practice and time yourself.
Graded on a pass/fail basis. Speeches that run shorter than
2 minutes will not receive credit.
1-2 page draft of presentation due at the beginning of class
