Following is the point-wise analysis of both these devices:
• Display:
JioFi 4G hotspot from Reliance comes with an OLED display to display basic
information e.g. Power On/Off, Wi-Fi signal, the measure of battery life left, and the
strength of the network.
While, Airtel’s 4G hotspot doesn’t have a devoted display, it makes utilization of
LEDs to show such information.
• Connectivity:
Both of these gadgets will permit you to create a hotspot for about 10 devices, to
connect at the same time.

2. • Battery Life:
Going by the claims from Airtel, its 4G hotspot will work for you around 6 hours on a
solitary charge, while sthe JioFi 4G hotspot claims to offer about 5 hours of battery
life.
• Design and Portability:
Both the gadgets accompany a rectangular-ish look with bended edges. Likewise,
they are sufficiently small to fit in our pockets in this way, portability would not be a
major concern in both the cases.
• On The Price Front:
A JioFi 4G Hotspot can be purchased at Rs. 1,999 while Airtel charges you Rs. 2,300
for its portable hotspot and yet the display is not present. As a part of the festive offer,

• Tariff Plans:
Airtel tariff plan begins at Rs. 450 for 3GB of data and spans as high as Rs. 1,200 for
12GB of data. Then again, one could benefit from the ‘Free Welcome Offer’ with the
JioFi 4G hotspot to get unlimited data and voice calls until December 31, 2016, post
which plans differ.
