Lawnmower racing is a form of motorsport in which competitors race modified
lawnmowers. The original mower engines are mantained, but blades are removed
for safety. It´s practised in Australia, in The UK and in The USA.
3. LAWN MOWER RACING
Lawn mowers are divided into four main groups:
- Group 1 run behind
- Group 2 towed seat and roller driven
- Group 3 small garden riders, wheel driven
- Group 4 small garden tractor, bonneted and wheel driven
4. BOG SNORKELING
• Complete a 60 yards length in the least time
possible.
• You are not allowed to use common swimming
strokes.
• You can only use snorkels and flippers, a
swimming suit is not compulsory.

Blokart is a kind of vehicle powered by sails what was
developed by Paul Beckett in 1999.
It’s composed basically by 3 parts: body, mast and sail.
Blokart can be disassembled and carried in a easy way.
They are used in places with so much space, like a
beach.

The first model was commercialized in 2000 and in 2017
there were about 14.000 produced karts.
There are national and world championships. The first
world championship was in New Zeland, where Paul was
born.
Last year, in 2018, this championship was celebrated in
Mallorca, Spain.
8. CHEESE CHASING
Its real name is Cooper's Hill Cheese-Rolling and Wake.
Its an annual event celebrated Every last Monday of May. there are
celebrated four races per year.
Its celebrated in Cooper Hill, near Gloucester, England.
9. CHEESE CHASING
In this race, a cheese about three and four
kilograms, it s thrown down hill, and the
competitors have to run chasing and trying to
catch the cheese. The one who catches the
cheese (or who was closer in catching it) and
reeches the finish line, wins the cheese.
10. CHESSBOXING
• It is an hybrid sport that mixes chess and
boxing.
• It consist in a enconuter of two participants
during 11 rounds, alternating between chess (4
mintues) and boxing (3 minutes).
• You can win a round by knocking out the rival,
by checkmate or if the jury decides so.
• Each round takes the conventional rules of each
sport.
11. CHESSBOXING
• The idea appears for first time on a comic
created by Enki Bilal, a french drawer, but
is developed by Iepe Rubingh in 2003.
• As in conventional boxing, it is divided in
three categories.
• The last competition was celebrated
during last year in Berlin.
12. BUZKASHI
Buzkashi is considerated national sport in
Afghanistan.
It’s played riding horse and riders are called
“chapandaz”.
In a match, 2 teams of 10 chapandaz try to
bring a decapitated goat to a specific place. It
can be the centre or the end of the field.
A match lasts 2 parts of 45 minutes each one.
The long of the field is 400 metres
13. BUZKASHI
This sport is so violent and it can be sometimes too
much violent because there isn’t always a referee.
Occasionally, chapandaz go to the match with
kalashnikov rifles with the purpose of intimidate the
other team.
This sport is kept by rich men who earn a lot of
money betting on the matches.
Curiously, chapandaz start to becoming best players
since they are 40.
14. Wife-carrying
Its a contest invented in Finland. It consists in an obstacle race where the
male competitor is carrying a female teammate (which has to weight forty-
nine kilograms, If she weighs less, she will be carrying a backpack
containing additional weight to bring the total load). The winners are
awarded with the weight of the wife in beer.

16. QUIDDITCH
• It comes from the Harry Potter saga, but un
1994 a group of fans put it into practice.
• It is played in teams composed by 6
players, who can be catchers, kickers,
searchers or guardians.
• Each type of player has a different task with
a different ball.
• Making a point gives your team 10 points.
17. • It is usually compulsory to play with a
broom between the legs.
• There are more than 700 faults and the
only category is mixed.
• The last World Championship was
celebrated in Italy the last year.
• The last National Cup was celebrated in
Rivas.
18. JUGGER
This sport was inspired on the film The blood of heroes and it was
developed between 1989 and 1995.
The target of this sport is to score in a ring of 50 centimetres at the
end of the field.
In a match there are 2 halfs of 100 intervals. Each interval last 1’5
seconds. The music sets with the rhythm the intervals.
There are 4 referees: 2 try to make the rules be fulfilled and other 2
are dedicated of deciding if a score is legal or illegal
19. JUGGER
There are 5 players in a team:
1 runner or jugg (skull), this is the player who is able to
take the ball.
1 kettenmann (chain-man), this player has got a chain
and have got privileges.
3 popmfers, they’ve got the rest of weapons.
