1. Recce Shots
Above (left) is our actor of the part of Slender Man (Reece Clark). We took the costume ideas from
the picture on the right, an animation of the mythical character Slender Man. We tried to choose an
actor who we thought would suit this part well. We needed certain criteria including a boy who was
quite tall, skinny and had short hair. Reece suited this part well so we chose him for our actor. We
then chose a suit as his costume as it was similar to the picture on the right, and to avoid uncovering
the creatures face we used a plain white mask to hide the character’s identity and to make him more
scary and mysterious.
This is the main actress in our film
(Alex Torrens). The original actress
was to be Sophia Lui Chen but a
problem arised where she could no
longer be in the film.

2. This is the room we used where the
girl gets taken by Slender Man. We
used this room as it was very
spacious and big and it was easy to
film with the tripod. The bed is also
the main piece of furniture in the
room which made it easier to focus
on the girl asleep then awoken by
the Slender Man.
This set of stairs is used in the film
where the Slender Man has entered
the house and makes his way
towards the bedroom. We used
different angles and positions to film
him going up the stairs to make it
more interesting.
This area of the house is shown
when paranormal activity starts to
occur when it has turned 3am. The
TV turns on by itself and paper flies
in the air out of nowhere.
This window is shown when Slender
Man walks part outside. We had the
blind opened slightly more to make
it easier to spot him when he
walked past.
