2. Forest shoot.
β’ These are some images we took at Epping forest. Here we
will be filming the flashback sequences in that take place
in the forest. We looked through and decided on these
parts as they are similar to the what we imaged when
doing the storyboard. However to get these scenes to
match the overall tone of the piece we have decided to
either filming in low light around 5pm when it begins to
get dark or to darken the scenes up when we are editing.
β’ Here I have placed the correct locations to match the
scenes drawn in the storyboard and will be writing what
is needed for each part of the shot.
3. β’
We have decided to use this wide open space during the beginning few shots of the open of our short film as it will help set up the
scene as an establishment shot. Here we plan to have the cross country running pass through as if he is running past the position of
the camera, similarly as to what has been shown in the sixth box on the storyboard. Risk Assessment β when filming this scene we
must be careful that the camera is not damaged specially when filming the hand held camera/ first person perspective shots.
Possible Problems β As this location is in a public place we must ensure that no members of the public are around during the time
of the filming of this scene.
β’
While looking in the forest we came across this small space covered by trees to give of the look of a cave therefore we thought it
would be a good idea to use this in the short film as throughout it is hinted that the killer is keeping up with the cross country
runner without being seen. Risk Assessment β When filming this scene we must be careful that the camera is not damaged specially

4. At another part of the forest we found another wide open space with a log in the middle which we thought our be a good location to
use as it would help introduce more interesting shots. While looking in the forest we came across this small space covered by trees to

Here we found again a large open
area where we could film some
wide shot scenes similar to a stand
off between the two characters as
well as other running scenes. While

this small space covered by trees to
give of the look of a cave therefore
we thought it would be a good idea

5. Here we found two trees positioned next to each other with a gap in-between, it was
important for us to find one like this as it is a shot we wanted to include as it is used in
many horror/thriller films such as the βWolfmanβ (2011) that inspired us to use it.
β’ Risk Assessment β
When filming this scene we must be careful that the camera is not damaged specially
when filming the hand held camera/ first person perspective shots.
