2. DOAJ- It used to be a good database in the past. But now it is under the influence of Traditional publishers
and it cannot claim that it is promoting open access journals. Check DOAJ web page for its supporters.
These big publishers are trying to destroy the trace of Open access model for their survival.
3. Scopus- The indexing database is maintained by a leading Publisher. The selection process is
questionable and the researchers can't expect a publisher to include other publisher's journals.
The database contains lot of errors.
EI- Do you expect a publisher to include other publishers journals in their list. If you believe
so, you are wrong.
DBLP - Full of error
INSPEC- Not a great one and their coverage is not wide. The database in not up to date and
their selection process is questionable.3
