Dear fellow Americans,
When you look into the face of a child with a cleft lip and cleft palate, it is hard to imagine the
life they would have without the deformity.
The pain they feel on a regular basis is horrific. With ridicule and mockery being apart of their
daily life its often hard for many of these children to do simple things such as attending school.
Many parents feel helpless when they are not able to afford surgery. This fate is devastating to
thousands of children.
IN the Philippians specifically Operation Smile came about in hopes to save children from
forever suffering. Medical colleagues who have similar interests and want to help some of this
suffrage in the world wanted to return to the Philippians and finish a job they have started.
Hoping to perform free surgeries for cleft pallets and cleft lips. Thanks to Operation Smile all of
this has become possible.
-More than 160,000 free surgeries to children around the world.
-A presence of Operation Smile in over 60 countries.
-Recruited more than 5,000 doctors.
-Trained thousands of local doctors and nurses in reconstructive surgery techniques.
-Provided free physical examinations for every child.
Operation Smile surgery can cost as low as $240 and take only 45 minutes. Sadly, even with low
cost up to 200,000 worldwide are left sad. Many third world countries are not able to give their
country everything they deserve but operation Smile if here to change children’s lives forever.
What can you do?
With a small donation of $20 you can provide a free surgery for a child just like yours to change
their tomorrow and the rest of their life.
Please be generous and allow these children with deformities to live the life they deserve reticule
free. Also step into the feet of parents who are not able to afford this simple surgery. Allow the
to free themselves from the burden they carry for not being able to provide everything they want
for their youngsters
