With superior air/water mixing the pack yields cooling capacity similar to tighter
traditional fill packs.
Wider air passages remain open even under worst case encrustation conditions,
which for traditional packs close off the air flow and radically alter the liquid to
gas ratio. The cooling capacity of a tower with the panels isn't reduced below
original design parameters.

CONFIGURATION
TURBOsplashPAC®™ is a panel that is designed to be assembled in 6 different
configurations stackable in a tower on different layers with different
configuration. This allow an high number of bed configurations. For this reason,
compared to conventional splash fills, with the same operating conditions, smaller
and cheaper towers will be obtained, or on existing towers an increase in capacity,

air. If the air is not
enough, the water
temperature rises.

HIGH EFFICIENCY
Equipped with a sloped blade, whose angles designed not only to spread and splash
water but to move air in vortices, causing transverse air flows that constantly intersect
with the downward flow of water mixing air and water droplets.
Thanks to the turbulence effect, efficiency is increased and correction distribution defects
is possible. This phenomenon can not get in to film pattern as a non-sprayed channel
remains such until the end of the module, consequently reducing the active surface.
Less resistance to the movement of air (wider passages) absorbs less fan energy to obtain
the same L/G ratio and thus saves considerable electrical energy.

RELIABILITY
Approximately 30 years ago, before the commercialization of TURBOsplash PAC ®™,
the product underwent a rigorous experimental testing and a CFD evaluation aimed for
design work.
A practical evaluation method was used
experimentally, performed by independent
laboratories that specialize in these tests.
The evaluation parameters, detected experimentally,
were analyzed and verified using CFD programs at
universities, with the aim to build or verify all cooling
towers.
Our panels are mechanically assembled (very simple
operation) without the use of glue and are much more
massive

Film fill is obtained by gluing sheets produced from PVC coils with a thickness of no
more than 300 microns and which after forming can reach 200 microns or less. For this
reason, the mass of water impacting on PVC fill, rapidly aged, crushes the ends into small
pieces that block the filling or end up to the pumps
