This document outlines important documents and procedures for a survey, including an intimation letter to distribute, a meter change report (MCR) to fill out completely and have consumers sign, and procedures for providing an earth leakage (EL) notice if an EL issue is detected during a meter installation or site visit. The MCR must be neat, have all data filled in without overwriting or cutting, and include the contractor's stamp. An EL notice gives consumers 7 days to address any EL issues found before further action.

1. IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS  Intimation Letter to be distributed during survey.  MCR (filled completely alongwith consumer’s signature).  EL (Earth leakage) notice.

3. METER CHANGE REPORT (MCR) Precautions while filling MCR- . MCR has to be kept neat and clean . • Data has to be filled completely. • No overwriting. • No cutting. • Remember to take the consumer’s signature on the MCR. • Handover copy of MCR to the consumer. • Contractor must put a stamp on MCR, indicating the Contractor name and helpline no. (in case of any consumer complaints Contractor Name-……………….. regarding the meter installation). Helpline no. ………………………… (in case of emergency)

4. EARTH LEAKAGE (EL) NOTICE • El Notice : Incase during installation of electronic meter, either new or MMP, if El LED is observed then a notice of 7days shall be given to him. Further during testing or during site visit, if EL is found glowing in existing meter, than consumer shall be informed for the same (letter format given).
