specified conditions.

(3) Fixed carbon
(4) Ash

6. • Weigh the crussible and lid
• Input 1 g sample into the crussible, then cover. weigh and heat
slowly until the temperature of 400-500C for 1 hour. Then
increase the temperature to 200-250 to 1 hour
• Remove the cup from the furnace. cooled in a desiccator and
weigh
Calculation Results :
% Ash = (A/B) x 100%
Note ;
A = Ash content
B = sample content
