2. SUMMARY
 This item is considered a “Housekeeping”
item.
 No major changes are proposed as part of
the ordinance.
 Purpose is to correct some errors in the
previous ordinance, adopting the same
changes that were approved in 2015, in order
to get the amendments properly codified.

3. BACKGROUND
 The International Code Council makes changes
and publishes the new International Code
Series every three (3) years. The City of Alamo
Heights did not adopt the last code cycle for
2012.
 On October 26, 2015, Council adopted the 2015
International Code Series and the 2014
National Electrical Code in Chapter 5 of The
City Ordinances.

4. BACKGROUND
 The ordinance adopted the New Code
Series, however some of the subsections
were not properly addressed and the
changes were unable to be codified by the
City.
 This ordinance will clean up all subsections
found in Articles I, II, and III in order to
properly adopt and codify the changes.
