2. In order to create a professional look for my music magazines I will first
create flats plans for each page so I have prepared and pre planned
what needs to be done when it comes to constructing the final
piece, below are some examples that I have looked at to get a better
understanding of what looks good and what does not.
3. Here we have my draft front
cover, after going over it in more
detail I realised that it would look to
plain and would not have enough
information on it, and would not look
as professional as it should.
After a bit of time I finally completed the flat plan for
my music magazine cover, I have added more
conventions to fill the page up and give a more
professional look.
4. When creating a contents page it is
important that that page looks full and
not bare with this design I felt it would
look a bit bare so I had to improve it
On this final flat plan I have made sure that as
much space as possible is covered so it looks
interesting and does its job of navigating the
reader successfully
5. A double page spread is the hardest part of
a magazine as it has to look good and it
cannot look bare with this flat plan I felt it
would look to plain and boring,
After looking at more examples of
double page spread I came to the
conclusion that a spreading text and
pictures would create a more
professional look
