Talking about sports
When you talk about a sport that you like, you
can:
• Say what is.
• Give some details to describe it (how many
players are needed, what you need to play
it, where to play it).
• Give some reasons to say why you like it.

16. My Favorite Sport
I think basketball is a great sport. All you
need are a ball and a court. You can play it
outdoors or inside a sports center. It’s a team
sport so it’s fun to play with your friends. I
like basketball because it’s exciting and fun.

Taufik is the second child of Mr.
Aries Haris and Mrs. Enok Dartilah.
He has three brothers. He was born
on 10th August 1981. Taufik was
born in Bandung. But, he lives on Jl.
Damai Raya street, Cipayung, east
Jakarta now.
