2. Why do I think that this photo would be
appropriate for my cover magazine? I think
that this photo is represented in a positive
light she’s dressed in white which symbolises
purity she’s not provocative and she’s smiling.
3. • I’ve decide to pick this photograph
because it’s very nicely focused on
her face and usually when
choosing a photograph for a
magazine cover you want focus on
persons face. Her pose is relaxed,
she’s gently smiling and people
who smile are usually judged to be
more positive strong a happy
people which automatically gives
us a positive feedback about a
model.
4. The model in this photo looks very
mysterious, she looks very serious it’s
like she’s thinking about something
very important, where her hand is
placed it’s saying something like think
before you do something stupid
perhaps, her pose looks interesting
as well one of her hand is at the back
therefore we can’t see it and her
other hand is placed near her head
the facial expression is very
mysterious, it’s almost as if the
photograph has a second meaning
(don’t do that) (think) it’s just creates
this emotion it looks realistic, it’s
interesting that’s why I like this
photo.
5. • Yet again She look’s mysterious
she hands are placed at the back
and her face is facing the right
hand side but she looks straight
at the camera, yet again second
meaning which tells us whatever
we want really, we can create a
second meaning depending on
the type of cover magazine, this
cover magazine represents
teenagers, her hands are at there
back and she might not like
peoples opinion about teenagers
it’s almost as if she wants to say
something perhaps defend
teenagers from placing them in
negative light.
6. • I’ve decided to choose this photo
because it looks very mysterious
to me and the look on her face is
very questioning what is she
thinking about etc., why do I want
to use this photo for my magazine
cover ?because even though she’s
not smiling she still gives a
positive representation of
teenagers, How ? She does have
this little smirk on her face, she
looks like a typical teenager.
