Caught up in the love and lust of a young youthful relationship, she
chases his love around a ‘figure 8’ with no beginning and no end.
Beautiful, raw images of a white horse running through a misty field
becomes a metaphor for the chase after love, juxtaposed with the slow
motion of the time standing still.
The smoke and mist portray the intensity of the loneliness she holds
condemned by the break of the promise - ‘you promised forever and a
day’.
The smoke reiterates the broken relationship as she can no longer hold
on to the love that is disappearing.

by her in a smoky field opens up the scene.
The beat kicks in.
Cutaway shot reveals the girl stood in front of lights in a darkened
smoky room.
Cutaway shots between the field and studio continue until the first

A close up of a horses nose breathing in and out the cold air.
A shot of the sky reveals a dimmed out ray of sunlight.
A medium/close up shot shows the girls blank expressionless face with hair
blowing across her face.
The bridge kicks in.
The camera shows a medium shot of the bottom part of her torso and top part
of her legs with the girl holding and scrunching on to her dress.
A continuous shot reveals a pan of the girl leaving go of her dress and it blowing
in the wind.
The chorus kicks in.
Cutaway to a girl stood alone in dark room surrounded by lights and smoke.
Her sudden movements replicate her feelings with her infatuation with love and
its abrupt exit from her life.
Medium shot shows the girl placing her hand on her cheek remembering her
love.
Shot continues of the girl emotionally singing in to the camera.
Long shot of the girl galloping through the field in slow motion building up to
the chorus.
A strong flash of lights fill the screen for a split second emphasizing the damage
she possesses.
Multiple cutaway shots reveal the girl stood in front of strong lights and thick
smoke mixed with the girl stood on the misty field expressing her emotions.

9. Music slows, the girl is stood in the studio as revealed by a
medium/long shot.
The field gets covered by thick smoke representing the loss of their
love. The male appears from the smoke.
He slowly walks towards the girl. They meet. Stood next to each
other. A medium shot shows their hands meet. Touching but not
locking together.
The music builds up to a drop to which a mediumclose up shot of a
drum being hit with powder paint is shown.
Quick, snappy shots of horse running through field, the girl and male
on the field and the girl in the studio fill the whole chorus
representing her rush of feelings and emotions.
The smoke clears. Its stripped away. Metaphorical for love
completely gone. It gets thinner and thinner as the male disappears
leaving only her in the field.
