The genre of mymagazine isgoingto be rap music. Thisis because rapis a famousgenre inthe
musicindustry andone of the most popularinall regionsof the world. Due to this,my magazine is
more likelytosucceedbecause of the wide range of popularitywithrapmusic.
 Target audience (demographic,socio-economicandpsychographic)
The primarytarget audience formyrap magazine wouldbe blackmalesagedbetween16-21 livingin
the US, UK andCanada. Thisis due to the fact that thisspecifictargetaudience are knowntoidentify
and relate withrappersandthe music.Thisis why blackmalesaged16-21 are targetedspecificallyin
these differentcountrieswhichare home tomanyfamousrappers. However,manyotherpeople are
interestedinrapmusicandthose consistof bothgendersandotherages indifferentcountries.
These people wouldbe the secondarytargetaudience formyrapmagazine.
The primarytarget audience intermsof socio-economicswouldbe unemployedblackmales
alongside studentsandcasual workers.Thisisbecause thisparticularcategoryismore likelyto
relate withrapmusicand will be more interestedinarap magazine.Despite this,otherpeople from
differentcategoriesfromthe socio-economicmodel mayalsobe interestedinrapmusic.Therefore,
these people wouldbe mymagazine’ssecondarytargetaudience.

The title of my magazine will be “RapSensAtion”.Thistitle isunique anddifferentfromotherrap
magazineswhichshouldbenefitinbeingmore interestingtorap fans.The capital ‘A’ is there to
deployafancy aura aboutthe title,because itisunconventional andtherefore itstandsout.
Consequently,the title iseye catchingandappealingtothe audience.
 House style:
The font type thatI will use forthe masthead will be sansserif “Rezland”. Thisisbecause thisfont
type has an aura of attraction whichisideal forthe mastheadof my magazine asitwill appeal tothe
audience.
The font type thatI will youuse formy coverline will be sansserif “Roboto”.Iam usingthis
particularfonttype for mycover line because itisaverysimple fonttype andeasilyread.Thisfont
type looksgoodwithdifferent featuresaswell whichisanotherreasonwhyitisa suitable choice for
my coverlines.
The font typesthatI will use forthe bodytext will be serif “TimesNew Roman”.Thischoice of font
type isideal because itisa hugelycommonfonttype. Manyreadersprefertoread inthisfonttype
because itisfairlystraightforwardandsimple.Also,the bodytextgoeswell withthe fonttypesfor
the mastheadandcover line.All three of these fonttypescontributetoanintriguingundertone.

rappers.
