Responsible for the assessment, planning implementing and
evaluating direct patient care (total bedside patient care) which is
initially done through nursing rounds, checking the patients’
condition, monitoring vital signs, symptoms of the diagnosed
illness and reporting the collected information to the attending
physician.
• Assist the doctors during the rounds by updating their information
about the patients’ present condition and improvements and report
any deterioration in patients’ condition if occurred.
• Assist the doctors during minor procedures in the ward by
preparing the patients, the necessary equipment and by assisting
the doctor in performing the minor procedure.

examinations.
