2. Use of Technologies
Hardware, software and websites and any other items used in the
construction, research, planning and evaluation of this coursework were:
- Camera
- Video camera
- Photoshop
- Slideshare
- Blogger
- Mac
- Final cut pro
- Powerpoint
- Youtube
- Itunes
- Bluetooth

3. - We used a camera for taking pictures of the band (stills), and ancillary tasks. The video camera was used
for filming the music video and practise filming, both were very easy and simple to use and did the job
required.
- We used final cut pro to edit our video, when we first used it, it was hard to get to grips with, there was a
lot to take in but once we mastered it, it was amazing. It made such shots possible like the slow motion
shot of the rock crumbling.
- Photoshop was like final cut pro as we had to learn how to use it as we went along. Photoshop helped us
make our digipak, for example it allowed us to cut and change the background and foreground.
- All of our research, editing of music video, planning and producing of ancillary products were done on the
mac, we found it did the job well.
- Youtube was used for inspiration for our music video. It also was used for us to upload our music video and
question three of evaluation task. This is a great way to upload our work and was very simple and quick to
use.
- Itunes was used for the purchase of ‘Silver Tongue’ it was quick and simple to use.
- Blogger was used as our organizer as it contained all of our research, planning, evaluation and
construction of our music video.
- Slideshare and PowerPoint was used in my research and evaluation. I found them both very easy to use.
