3. Containerized buildings
•Use of containers as a building material has the
following advantages:
•Strength
•wide availability
• Relatively low cost.
•Schools have also been built with containers
because they are seen as more eco-friendly than
traditional building materials such as brick and
cement.
4. Introduction
Design Challenge:
• Design and build a project using MMC, Within a specific Area.
Design process:
• Three projects has been designed in the 1st
semester by using AutoCAD.
• One project has been chosen and improved.
5. Key Objectives
Employing MMC in the construction industry.
Utilizing AutoCAD software, to produce the project
design.
Working collaboratively as team to achieve our goal.
Applying critical thinking in problem solving .
Time management.
Effective use of the provided tools to create a prototype
of the project.
6. Design limitations
Maximum Area for each floor: 16(m)*18.6(m)= 2297.6(m2)
Length of the container: 6(m)
Width of the container :2.44(m)
Height of the container: 2.90(m)

15. Results and Discussion
Challenges:
• Methodology of using the tools.
• Accuracy of the cutting list.
•Time management.
•Broken wood martial during
windows fixing.
Solutions :
• Research+ support from
technician
• Fixing extra joints
• Extra classes
•Seeking alternative design
for windows.
