The forms of prayer are the following:
1. Blessing and Adoration
Blessing - an encounter between God and a
human person
Adoration - a respectful silence before God,
our Creator

Acknowledging that we are sinners, we
approach God for forgiveness.

7. 3. Intercession
Form of prayer asking God for blessings on
behalf of another

8. 4. Thanksgiving
In celebrating the Eucharist, come from the
Greek word eukharistia, which means
“thanksgiving” or “gratitude”

9. 5. Praise
Form of prayer that recognizes most
immediately that God is God
