Aircraft Maintenance Unit Officer in Charge, Air Mobility Command (2013-2015) SPOKANE, WA
Devised plan and organized team to consolidate Maintenance Group’s recurring training programs and
schedules for 900 personnel. Effort returned 36,000 annual work hours to primary job functions.
Achieved over 90% mission effectiveness for more than 2.5 thousand US and Allied global aerial refueling
missions per year as supervisor to 470 aircraft technicians across six specialties maintaining 35 assigned heavy
aircraft valued at $1.3 billion.
Optimized usage rates and inventory levels to satisfy 365/24/7 airfield operations while managing 50 vehicles,
16 thousand aircraft parts, and two equipment accounts worth $3.8 million.
Host Nation Coordination Officer, Air Force Central Command (2012 -2013) ABU DHABI, UAE
Mitigated arduous Ministry of Interior fees and procedures to secure naturalization for 120 defense
contractors saving the Department of Defense $1.2 million.
Liaison to UAE Military and State departments on behalf of a rotating force of 3,000 US military personnel on 4
or 6 month deployments. Restructured program solving historical problems of expirations for 30 and 60-day
visa renewals, and improper immigration and emigration procedures.
Supervised the contracted services of nine Arab-speaking linguists to facilitate operations and logistics
functions between UAE and US Armed Forces in support of Allied operations in the Arabian Peninsula.
Acquisitions Officer, Air Force Space Command (2010-2012) EL SEGUNDO, CA
Directed acquisition logistics activities supporting $2.3 billion Launch and Test Range System dispersed over
dozens of geographically separated installations across the Pacific and Atlantic coastlines.
Co-authored Request For Proposal, compiled 4,000 requirements, and teamed source selection. Successfully
awarded $8 billion contract guaranteeing future for space operations through sustained launch capabilities.
Maintenance Flight Commander, US Air Forces in Europe (2008-2010) MILDENHALL, ENGLAND
Selected to lead Maintenance Group Six-Sigma Process Improvement Event on KC-135 biannual maintenance
inspection. Overhauled warehouse high-reach equipment into technician mobile work-stations slashing
inspection timeframe from fourteen to nine days. Innovations personally recognized by Secretary of the Air
Force and awarded Team Excellence by Chief of Staff of the Air Force.
Led 55 technicians to revamp base heavy maintenance program. Requested responsibility for 60-day
inspections and repairs in addition to annual requirements for 15 assigned heavy aircraft. Diligent practices
improved take-off and mission effectiveness rates by eight percent within first year.
