1. STEP 1:
Downloadthe lessonplantemplate:

STEP 2:
Openthe Scheme of Work.Copy the detailsthatwe needandpaste theminthe lessonplan
template. Example of details:LANGUAGEFOCUS,CONTENTSTANDARD,LEARNINGSTANDARD,
THEME, SKILLS,ETC.
The learningoutlines have beenprovidedtous.If the learningoutlinesare suitable forthe needsof
our students,we canjustcopy the whole thingandpaste theminthe lessonplantemplate,butif we
feel the needstoadaptthe learningoutlines,byall mean,we canchange the outline basedonour
preferences.
STEP 3 :
Create our ownLESSON OBJECTIVES( 2 objectives,one formainskill andthe otherone for the
complementaryskill).
How to make the LESSON OBJECTIVES? Use the SMART tip.(Specific,Measurable,Attainable,
Realistic,Time Bound).
Then,basedonour lessonobjectives,create 2SUCCESSCRITERIA (one basedonthe mainlesson
objective andthe otherone basedonthe complementarylessonobjective).
EXAMPLE :
LESSON OBJECTIVE: By the endof the lessonsome/most/all pupilswillbe able tosaythree shapes
that theysee inthe classroomto theirpartner.
SUCCESS CRITERIA / CAN DO STATEMENT: Pupilscan saythree shapesthattheysee inthe classroom
to theirpartner.
STEP 4:
Searchfor materialsbasedonyourlessonplansandchoose the onessuitable toyourlessons..I’ve
sharedthe materialsbasedonunits/modulesforyear1,2,3 on my blogspotandyear4 on mynew
website (year4materialsare still inprogress,theyare not complete yet).Downloadthemall and
save theminyour laptop.Theyare all for FREE!
