2. Background:
The incontinence is very interrelation with a quality of
life, because the definition of Urinary Incontinence is
unintentional loss of urine that is sufficient enough in frequency
and amount to cause physical and/or emotional distress in the
person experiencing it.
3. Aim:
To validate the Turkish versions of the IIQ-7 and UDI-6
for use in Turkish-speaking populations
4. Materials and Methods:
The IIQ-7 and UDI-6, consisting of 7 and 6 questions
respectively. UDI-6 detected urinary incontinence symptoms
and IIQ-7 the impact on quality life of this incontinence.
5. Translate:
First time, they translate a two questionnaires with a not
familiar persons with questionnaires. These translation were
realization for two different person and after they meet and
common draft of the Turkish questionnaires. After they
meeting with an experts for said OK.
6. Study Pilot
Initially, a pilot study was evaluate the internal
consistency and the test-retest of Turkish version. Pass the
questionnaires to 30 women that they visit to the
urogynecology outpatient clinic at Zeynep Kamil Women's
Hospital.
To measure the test-retest reliability of the final version,
a “2 weeks” test-retest.
7. Real Sydy AND Gold Standard
After a pilot study , 302 patients with the least one
urinary incontinence episode in past pass the questionnaries,
this questionnaires to comprove with a urodinamic testing.
