• SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEMOGRAPH:
• MY TARGET AUDIENCE WOULD BE C1, D AND E WHICH ARE
CLASSIFIED AS LOWER MIDDLE CLASS, WORKING CLASS
AND NON-WORKING CLASS RESPECTIVELY. MY TARGET
AUDIENCE WOULD FALL INTO THESE CATEGORIES AS
THEY ARE YOUNG AND STILL IN SCHOOL THEREFORE
UNEMPLOYED AND WITHOUT AN INCOME.
SOCIO-ECONOMIC GROUPS:
• READERS OF MY MAGAZINE WOULD BE
PREDOMINATELY MALE (60%) AS THEY TEND TO FALL
INTO THE INDIE STEREOTYPE , ALTHOUGH
FEMALES(40%) WOULD ALSO BE ATTRACTED TO MY
MAGAZINE, MAYBE BECAUSE OF THE FEMALE GAZE
THEORY OR IT COULD JUST BE BECAUSE THEY FEEL
AS THOUGH THEY ARE ALSO REPRESENTED IN MY
PRODUCT.

THE LIKES OF OASIS, RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS AND OTHERS.
FANS OF THESE BANDS BACK IN THE DAY ARE LIKELY TO STILL
BE FANS AND THEREFORE COULD HAVE AN INTEREST IN MY
MAGAZINE FOR ITS POSSESSIVE INDIVIDUALITY AND
UNIQUENESS.

MY AUDIENCE • AGE: • AUDIENCES THAT WILL BE INTERESTED IN MY MUSIC PRODUCT WILL BE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 15-18 • SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEMOGRAPH: • MY TARGET AUDIENCE WOULD BE C1, D AND E WHICH ARE CLASSIFIED AS LOWER MIDDLE CLASS, WORKING CLASS AND NON-WORKING CLASS RESPECTIVELY. MY TARGET AUDIENCE WOULD FALL INTO THESE CATEGORIES AS THEY ARE YOUNG AND STILL IN SCHOOL THEREFORE UNEMPLOYED AND WITHOUT AN INCOME.
  • 4. • READERS OF MY MAGAZINE WOULD BE PREDOMINATELY MALE (60%) AS THEY TEND TO FALL INTO THE INDIE STEREOTYPE , ALTHOUGH FEMALES(40%) WOULD ALSO BE ATTRACTED TO MY MAGAZINE, MAYBE BECAUSE OF THE FEMALE GAZE THEORY OR IT COULD JUST BE BECAUSE THEY FEEL AS THOUGH THEY ARE ALSO REPRESENTED IN MY PRODUCT.   • 5. • FOR THE PSYCHOGRAPHICS OF MY READERS I WOULD SAY THEY WOULD MOSTLY BE REFORMERS AS THESE ARE DESCRIBED AS; ‘FREEDOM FROM RESTRICTION, PERSONAL GROWTH, SOCIAL AWARENESS’ THIS SUITS MY DEMOGRAPHIC MOST AS THEY ARE MEANT TO BE A VERY OPEN GROUP. A SECONDARY AUDIENCE WOULD BE EXPLORERS AND ASPIRERS AS THESE ARE THE POEPLE WHO SOMETIMES GET A BIT TOO OBSESSED WITH APPEARANCE AND FASHION AND AESTHETIC IS VERY IMPORTANT IN THE INDIE SUB-CULTURE. PSYCHOGRAPHICS OF MY AUDIENCE

SECONDARY AUDIENCE • MY SECONDARY AUDIENCE WOULD BE OLDER MEN, WHO WERE BORN IN AROUND THE 60’S,70’S OR 80’S WHO WERE BROUGHT UP LISTENING TO WHAT IS NOW REFERRED TO AS ‘INDIE MUSIC’ THE LIKES OF OASIS, RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS AND OTHERS. FANS OF THESE BANDS BACK IN THE DAY ARE LIKELY TO STILL BE FANS AND THEREFORE COULD HAVE AN INTEREST IN MY MAGAZINE FOR ITS POSSESSIVE INDIVIDUALITY AND UNIQUENESS.

FASHION AND ACTIVITIES • FASHION WISE, MY AUDIENCE ARE LIKELY TO BE QUITE EXPRESSIVE, THINGS LIKE DENIM JACKETS ARE VERY POPULAR AMONG MY AUDIENCE, AS WELL AS SHOES LIKE CONVERSES THAT ARE SIMPLE BUT REPRESENT THE 80’S , MY AUDIENCE ARE THE TEENAGERS THAT CLAIM ‘THEY WERE BORN IN THE WRONG ERA’ THEY HAVE A FASCINATION WITH DECADES SUCH AS THE 80’S AND 70’S WHEN LIFE WAS MORE LIBERAL AND FREE. MY DEMOGRAPHIC HAVE A DESIRE TO BE DIFFERENT AND INDIVIDUALISM IS A HUGE CONCEPT THAT THEY ASPIRE TO, ACTIVITIES MY AUDIENCE WOULD ENJOY WOULD BE SIMPLE THINGS LIKE DRIVING AROUND WITH FRIENDS, OR JUST CHILLING WITH MATES LISTENING TO GOOD MUSIC.
