6. Sprinkler Irrigation
Advantages :
• Affordable and easy to set up.
• Water measurement is easier
than surface irrigation system.
• Less land loss.
• High and frequent application can be effectively accomplished.
• Easy mechanization and automation.
Disadvantages:
• High operating cost.
• Water will drift when there is a lot of wind.
• A stable water supply is needed.
• Water must be free from sand, debris and large amount of salt.

7. Drip irrigation
Advantages:
• Due to improper water supply, fertilizers and nutrients cannot reach
the roots of every plant. Drip irrigation helps it to reach effectively.
• Soil erosion and weed growth are reduced.
• Water distribution can be controlled.
• It confirms zero labor cost.
• It is a low-cost process that can also be done in low water pressure.

8. Disadvantages:
• The installation process needs time. Sometimes may need
court approval in some lands.
• Sun heat affects tubes, sometimes they get broken for
excessive heat production.
• Tubes get clogged sometimes. Water cannot pass through
and roots get dehydrated.
• If Drip Irrigation is not installed properly, then it is a waste
of time and water .
