Yangcheng International Power Company was a joint venture between AES Corp, the leading US Independent Power
Producer (IPP), and four Chinese groups. YIPCO comprises of 6x350MW coal fired power complex. During my stay at

Development Authority) involved in the construction activities of 2 210 MW and 1 320 MW Steam Units
supplied by M/s CMEC China.
Worked as commissioning team leader to coordinate Chinese EPC contractor for the commissioning of 2 X 210
MW steam Units
Natural Gas Power Station, Piranghaib Multan Pakistan: Natural gas Power Station WAPDA consists of
4x65MW units supplied by AEG Germany. Plant was commissioned in 1958. This was the first biggest power
plant in Multan in Pakistan’s history. Boilers are dual fired with heavy oil and natural gas. A 132KV grid station is
also attached with the plant and is controlled by the plant shift.
Assistant Mechanical Engineer: Responsible for over hauling/ Maintenance of 4 65 MW steam turbine and
auxiliaries; Lead the team for the re-tubing of 2 65 MW steam turbine main condenser, having 8600 tubes.
Worked as Mechanical Engineer in electrical maintenance department at Natural Gas Power station WAPDA
Multan job responsibilities included maintenance of 4 85 MVA Generators
Rotor Rewinding of 2 65 MVA Generators with Chinese Experts from Dong Fang Electric Corporation China.
