Purpose Of Education In America
"The principle goal of education in the schools should be creating men and women who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what
other generations have done." –Jean Piaget (A quote by Jean Piaget, 2015) In this quote Piaget captures the pure essence of education in America. Our
educational system was built to create a better society that can grow and learn from history. I claim that the purpose of education in America is not just
to maintain a status quo, but moreover to educate children better than anywhere else in the world while also providing them equal opportunities for a
successful future.
The American educational system was created to provide an equal opportunity for everyone to be successful later in life. By becoming...show more

Becoming the most educated nation in the world has always been an intention of the United States. This idea was instilled in the American mind when
Thomas Jefferson wrote up the idea that all children get three years of free education (Mondale, 2001). Early in American history, education was not a
very important aspect of society. The beginning of becoming the most educated country begain in 1865 when slaves were free and were now able to
become educated (Mondale, 2001). With this new structure America would become a much more literate culture. Whites and blacks were both able to
attend school and able to help the American society. Later in history it was 0bserved that school again did not seem important to the American
public. Many kids could have been found working in factories and no longer attending school. To counter this problem the American government
introduced child labor laws, which stated that a factor was no place for children and they are required to be in school up until a certain age
(Mondale, 2001). The American education continued to grow and get better as time went on, after World War I America went over to show off our
new educational system to all the European countries and they were all very impressed (Mondale, 2001). A big milestone was achieved in 1958 with
the National Defense Act; this act assisted the American educational system by sending 100 million dollars annually to help out education (Mondale,
2001). This was a big deal at the time because it shows just how imp0rtant education has become and how the American government is achieving to

Essay About Education In America
The purpose of the research topic was to ascertain a better understanding of the quality of education in the United States of America, relative to other
nations around the world. In a world that is becoming increasingly globalized and inter–connected, prospective employees have access to a wider–range
of jobs, but in an increasingly competitive marketplace. High–level education is critical to attracting high–achieving students, who have the potential to
become contributing members of American society. Furthermore, the prevalence of modernization throughout the world necessitates an emphasis on

indicates that America's approach to education is the area that is lacking. This line of thinking is corroborated by the OECD report, "Low–Performing
Students: Why They Fall Behind and How to Help Them Succeed". In this report, the OECD ranked each country by it's weakest students, and found
that 29% of U.S. student's fell below the baseline in at least one area of math, reading, and science, finding the worst area to be mathematics. This 29%
is compared to less than 5% in China, South Korea, and several countries ("Low–Performing Students" 45). This gap and mathematics issues is
supported by the findings of the Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies, in their report, "Skills of U.S. Unemployed, Young,
and Older Adults in Sharper Focus: Results From the Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies". The research found that
compared to their international average, the U.S. has a greater gap in high performers vs low performers, particularly in the area of mathematics
("Skills of U.S. Unemployed, Young, and Older Adults" 5). The problems that are present in the education system seem to have manifested themselves
in older individuals, indicating that the issues are deep–rooted and have been around for a long period of

"Once upon a time, American students tested better than any other students in the world" as it says in Newsweek March 6, 2010. What's the current
scenario? The educational system in America is outdated. The elementary and high schools have suffered from a serious decline in the graduation level.
This is something the government at most certain point cannot overlook. Not to mention the children's future are at risk but America's future is at stake.
How important is the American education? First of all the future of America basically lies in the American educations hands. In the 1970's only one
quarter of jobs required more than a high school education. Yet, two out of three jobs require at least a post–scenario education. This means that without
a great education system the unemployment rate will drop, which we already are seeing in age group of 18–31 year old. There are numerous factors
that will have to be taken care of, to ensuring a safe and sound future in America.

Educational Inequality in the U.S. Essay
The United States is a country based on equal opportunity; every citizen is to be given the same chance as another to succeed. This includes the
government providing the opportunity of equal education to all children. All children are provided schools to attend. However, the quality of one
school compared to another is undoubtedly unfair. Former teacher John Kozol, when being transferred to a new school, said, "The shock from going
from one of the poorest schools to one of the wealthiest cannot be overstated (Kozol 2)." The education gap between higher and lower–income schools
is obvious: therefore, the United States is making the effort to provide an equal education with questionable results.
The United States has a shameful...show more content...
The schools from poorer towns and cities do not have the financial assets available to them to hire the kind of teachers that schools with more money
have the capability to employ.
The resources available to an urban, lower income school are to be equal to those available to a suburban, higher income school. Two schools in
New York, one from a wealthy school district and one from a poor district, were given computers. The State provided the same number of computers
to each school, therefore claiming to evenly supporting each school. However, the school with the poorer children had a larger number of students;
the nicer school had twice the number of computers in proportion to the number of their students (Kozol 84). It seems that the biggest factor keeping
the children of lower income homes behind is the school funding available. The poorer school district does not have the money to spend on the things
a wealthier district may, but there is no real evidence that spending money makes much difference in the outcome of a child's education. In many
cases, family and background have a greater influence on how well a child does in school (Kozol 176–77). Richard Kahlenberg, a member of the
Century Foundation, says, "Research findings and common sense tell us that the people who make up a schoolВ—the students, parents, and
teachersВ—matter more (Lewis 648)

Education in America: Failing Schools
Education in America is one of the most important issues that face our nation. If the education in America is not thought of one of most serious
issues we face, our nation as a whole will fall. There are many debates and they seemly extend to all walks of life. The debates range from the decline in
education, school vouchers, and the no child left behind law. As a nation, the United States is ranked above others. We must search for that solution to
all of the pro's and con's in education. The solution should allow all walks of life to excel in the education realm. After all, the children of today will
be the leaders of tomorrow.

These gains have resulted in extra funding, enhanced teacher training and even tutoring. Bush was quoted as saying, "The era of low expectations
and low standards is ending; a time of great hopes and proven results is arriving and together we are keeping a pledge: every child in America will
learn, and no child will be left behind...." (Bush, par. 5). President Bush has placed great enhances on testing. It is believed that frequent testing in
the classroom can be used as a guide to help individual schools build academically. Also, each school would receive a grade for its achievement level
and be required to post it for the public to see. The bill insists on higher standards and higher achievement levels for all school. It joins the teachers,
principles and education chiefs together in the fight for high education. It encourages great value and instills hope for our country.
There is no need to be alarmed over education in America. While many critics are quick to point out the fact that American students have fallen behind
in the academic realm, they fell to mention that the American students rank high in competitiveness and creativity, giving the American students the
advantage (Bracey, par. 1).

The American Education System Education
American Education System
Education plays important role in society. It determines the final development of an adult's personality. In today's society most jobs require a
University degree. To receive a University degree students need to rely on a good education system. Does America provide this? The American
education system has relied on the grade point average system for a long time. The problem with this is there is not a universal GPA grade point system
varying from course to course. This creates an inaccurate way to determine ones overall achievements. Teachers have different standards than others,
grade inflation can occur and students can be exposed to different learning environments. Does the education system need to change to create fairness?
The American education system has not changed drastically since the 1900s. In the early 1900's before grading, teachers were expected to
communicate in depth to their students on how they were doing in the class. This worked well for small groups and individual tutoring. The ability
for this information to be passed on to those who were not involved with the learning process, such as employers and parents was limited. By the mid
20th century schools changed drastically as they introduced grades in the form of letters. The American schools now became more standardized as A,
B, C, D and F represented ones grade. Depending what percentage a student received determined letter they got. An example is an A is a mark of

If there was a one cure all for all the ailments that trouble our society it would be education. As a female Arab Muslim girl in America I can guarantee
that all the bigotry, hatred, poverty, and deceitfulness that happens can be solved if education were accessible and free to everyone. Education is
different than just being literate, being educated is being able to distinguish between superstitions that were imposed on us by society, and what is
actually true. Education is at the core of what makes us humans and for it to be withheld from some people because of gender is the soil were poverty

America has spent more money supporting our operations in the Middle East than we will ever spend on education for our children. Doctor
Barber makes the statement clear in the title of the article that we are introduced into "brand learning" in schools. So are we citizens or
consumers? Can we be both and still be successful? The article states that poor schools are propositioned by Channel One as I mentioned earlier,
and that this type of propaganda spans out into universities as well. Doctor Barber poses the question, what type of soda machines are in your
school. At the University of Oklahoma we have a Starbucks, Wendy's, Sbarro's, and many more. Overall I think Doctor Barber's assumptions of
America's students is we are living life in neutral, not because we are lazy, but because we are a product of what our education systems and our
government are making us. He suggests that we could be pushed into overdrive if we obtain an education and learn through others languages and
cultures. We can push on if we can avoid or block out some of the advertising propaganda that we are force fed as children.

mostly black and Latino children. These

Value Of Education In America
Education in America is highly valued, but are kids being educated in today's age in the right way? There are arguments about how different schools
have certain methods of teaching that no school is the same. Kids that go from K–12 are always drilled into believing that they have two options to
either work hard and go to college for a degree, or to fail and not get anywhere and end up working low paying jobs. Traditional views of schooling
are affecting kids and there must be a more positive solution to fix that. The educational system must address the issues on how kids that go from k–12
are being graded, and how schools are teaching students to conform to a certain norm and not to let their creativity bloom. Grading has always been a

Public Education In America Essay
Since 1983 public education has been an issue in America. The system has been constantly changing every year with reforms. This constant change has
been driven by the American people's perception that education has declined and something should be done about it. First there was an increased
emphasis on basic skills, making school years longer and more graduation requirements. Second, many began focusing on increasing teachers
professionalism. Third, they began restructuring many things such as how the schools were organized and how the school day was structured etc. Now
today the most of the American people believe that not enough money is given to public schooling. They associate academic improvement with the
money the school is funded....show more content...
But then again funds on schools are not the same from state to state. This can be explained by the different educational input costs like real estate
and teachers salaries. But that's a whole other story. Funding for schools is not the issue obviously it just needs more of a balancing. The balancing
can help out drastically because there will not be a huge gap in the financing of schools. In other words, many Americans will not have to worry
about their child attending a school with overcrowded classrooms. Also academic achievement has a lot more to do with someone as an individual.
Students with certain backgrounds and family lives tend to have different beliefs and outlooks on life. This should be handled by trying to influence
them through programs to teach them that even though we all come from different places we all should have the same goal in mind and that's to better
ourselves. There was a time when school counselors actually counseled students who needed guidance in school and even in life. Counselors now deal
with paper work and schedules leaving no time for the student with no positive influence in life. The Americans who thinks the money is an issue,
needs to see this as an issue as well. Many Americans seem to share the view that government spending more money on education will improve
academic success. According to

Lack Of Education In America Essay
It is no great secret that america is falling far behind other leading countries in overall educational performance. Why is this happening here though

Major causes of this intellectual decline in American can be easily pointed out. The emphasis on technology very high so very high in fact that even

more serious lack of quality public education. All of these issue can be avoided quite simply though without great strain on the child or the parents.

Today, however, it seems as if the public has lost track of the importance of a great educational system. The main issue today's public schools faces are
funding problems. There is not enough money allocated to support the growing needs of school across the nation.
Most of the other problems the schools face are directly related to the funding issue. Buildings are run down and sometimes mobile because of the
lack of finances. No child wants to go to school in a dreary building that smells bad. It makes it hard to concentrate and hard to study in buildings
such as this. Every school has some type of sport being played by the students. For some, sports are the only reason they do not drop out of school.
However, if finances are not available then the school should focus mostly on the education of all of its students as a whole, not just a few who
think they cannot make it without sports. Without the financial issues, schools have even more problems. School violence is becoming more and
more common. School should be a place where children come to learn and be with their peers, in a very good environment. It should not be a place
where children are afraid to go because of the anger or hurt of other children. This is probably the major issue of the public today.
No matter what the issue, schools have important issues that they have to work around and with everyday to

In reality, society only displays thoughtfulness in two primary capacities: minimizing poverty, decreasing hunger. Receiving an education allows
individual in low income areas to depart themselves from poverty and hopefully increase the chances that more people within the community will
publicize the idea of receiving a quality education. This idea would allow them to see that obtaining an education beyond high school increases their
chances of living a better lifestyle financially. Hunger within the world is a growing problem. Incidentally, society has established several opportunities
and solutions to decrease hunger. However, society seems to be unaware that acquiring acollege degree diminishes the number of people that suffer
from hunger. According to an article by GPE Secretariat titled "17 Ways Education Influences the New 17 Global Goals" declares that on the off

those moms had a college degree, 12.2 million kids would be spared from longing sustenance (GPE Secretriat,2015). Another key point, receiving a

they are more likely to yearn to acquire an education. Certainly, receiving an education leads to

It was a way of passing knowledge from one mind to the next. A man named Horance Mann created a coalition of professional teachers in 1837. This
group of teachers was modeled after the Prussian idea of "common schooling", or the notion that all of populace deserved the availability and value of
education, no matter level of proficiency or skin color. Age grading was an idea that Mann had inquired during his time in Prussia. This idea was
originally put into effect in Massachusetts during 1848. Age grading was the design of appointing students by age and placing them into different

Purpose Of Education In America

  • 1. Purpose Of Education In America "The principle goal of education in the schools should be creating men and women who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what other generations have done." –Jean Piaget (A quote by Jean Piaget, 2015) In this quote Piaget captures the pure essence of education in America. Our educational system was built to create a better society that can grow and learn from history. I claim that the purpose of education in America is not just to maintain a status quo, but moreover to educate children better than anywhere else in the world while also providing them equal opportunities for a successful future. The American educational system was created to provide an equal opportunity for everyone to be successful later in life. By becoming...show more content... Becoming the most educated nation in the world has always been an intention of the United States. This idea was instilled in the American mind when Thomas Jefferson wrote up the idea that all children get three years of free education (Mondale, 2001). Early in American history, education was not a very important aspect of society. The beginning of becoming the most educated country begain in 1865 when slaves were free and were now able to become educated (Mondale, 2001). With this new structure America would become a much more literate culture. Whites and blacks were both able to attend school and able to help the American society. Later in history it was 0bserved that school again did not seem important to the American public. Many kids could have been found working in factories and no longer attending school. To counter this problem the American government introduced child labor laws, which stated that a factor was no place for children and they are required to be in school up until a certain age (Mondale, 2001). The American education continued to grow and get better as time went on, after World War I America went over to show off our new educational system to all the European countries and they were all very impressed (Mondale, 2001). A big milestone was achieved in 1958 with the National Defense Act; this act assisted the American educational system by sending 100 million dollars annually to help out education (Mondale, 2001). This was a big deal at the time because it shows just how imp0rtant education has become and how the American government is achieving to have the best–educated children in the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Essay About Education In America The purpose of the research topic was to ascertain a better understanding of the quality of education in the United States of America, relative to other nations around the world. In a world that is becoming increasingly globalized and inter–connected, prospective employees have access to a wider–range of jobs, but in an increasingly competitive marketplace. High–level education is critical to attracting high–achieving students, who have the potential to become contributing members of American society. Furthermore, the prevalence of modernization throughout the world necessitates an emphasis on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) topics, if a country wishes to have an established and important place in the global hierarchy....show more content... indicates that America's approach to education is the area that is lacking. This line of thinking is corroborated by the OECD report, "Low–Performing Students: Why They Fall Behind and How to Help Them Succeed". In this report, the OECD ranked each country by it's weakest students, and found that 29% of U.S. student's fell below the baseline in at least one area of math, reading, and science, finding the worst area to be mathematics. This 29% is compared to less than 5% in China, South Korea, and several countries ("Low–Performing Students" 45). This gap and mathematics issues is supported by the findings of the Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies, in their report, "Skills of U.S. Unemployed, Young, and Older Adults in Sharper Focus: Results From the Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies". The research found that compared to their international average, the U.S. has a greater gap in high performers vs low performers, particularly in the area of mathematics ("Skills of U.S. Unemployed, Young, and Older Adults" 5). The problems that are present in the education system seem to have manifested themselves in older individuals, indicating that the issues are deep–rooted and have been around for a long period of Get more content on HelpWriting.net

I look forward to hearing from you! Yours sincerely Mathias DelprĐ“Ń‘ve 2) Education in America 1 "Once upon a time, American students tested better than any other students in the world" as it says in Newsweek March 6, 2010. What's the current scenario? The educational system in America is outdated. The elementary and high schools have suffered from a serious decline in the graduation level. This is something the government at most certain point cannot overlook. Not to mention the children's future are at risk but America's future is at stake. How important is the American education? First of all the future of America basically lies in the American educations hands. In the 1970's only one quarter of jobs required more than a high school education. Yet, two out of three jobs require at least a post–scenario education. This means that without a great education system the unemployment rate will drop, which we already are seeing in age group of 18–31 year old. There are numerous factors that will have to be taken care of, to ensuring a safe and sound future in America.

  • 5. Educational Inequality in the U.S. Essay The United States is a country based on equal opportunity; every citizen is to be given the same chance as another to succeed. This includes the government providing the opportunity of equal education to all children. All children are provided schools to attend. However, the quality of one school compared to another is undoubtedly unfair. Former teacher John Kozol, when being transferred to a new school, said, "The shock from going from one of the poorest schools to one of the wealthiest cannot be overstated (Kozol 2)." The education gap between higher and lower–income schools is obvious: therefore, the United States is making the effort to provide an equal education with questionable results. The United States has a shameful...show more content... The schools from poorer towns and cities do not have the financial assets available to them to hire the kind of teachers that schools with more money have the capability to employ. The resources available to an urban, lower income school are to be equal to those available to a suburban, higher income school. Two schools in New York, one from a wealthy school district and one from a poor district, were given computers. The State provided the same number of computers to each school, therefore claiming to evenly supporting each school. However, the school with the poorer children had a larger number of students; the nicer school had twice the number of computers in proportion to the number of their students (Kozol 84). It seems that the biggest factor keeping the children of lower income homes behind is the school funding available. The poorer school district does not have the money to spend on the things a wealthier district may, but there is no real evidence that spending money makes much difference in the outcome of a child's education. In many cases, family and background have a greater influence on how well a child does in school (Kozol 176–77). Richard Kahlenberg, a member of the Century Foundation, says, "Research findings and common sense tell us that the people who make up a schoolВ—the students, parents, and teachersВ—matter more (Lewis 648) It is a necessity for the United States to achieve true Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Education in America Education in America: Failing Schools Education in America is one of the most important issues that face our nation. If the education in America is not thought of one of most serious issues we face, our nation as a whole will fall. There are many debates and they seemly extend to all walks of life. The debates range from the decline in education, school vouchers, and the no child left behind law. As a nation, the United States is ranked above others. We must search for that solution to all of the pro's and con's in education. The solution should allow all walks of life to excel in the education realm. After all, the children of today will be the leaders of tomorrow. The quality of education in the United States stated...show more content... These gains have resulted in extra funding, enhanced teacher training and even tutoring. Bush was quoted as saying, "The era of low expectations and low standards is ending; a time of great hopes and proven results is arriving and together we are keeping a pledge: every child in America will learn, and no child will be left behind...." (Bush, par. 5). President Bush has placed great enhances on testing. It is believed that frequent testing in the classroom can be used as a guide to help individual schools build academically. Also, each school would receive a grade for its achievement level and be required to post it for the public to see. The bill insists on higher standards and higher achievement levels for all school. It joins the teachers, principles and education chiefs together in the fight for high education. It encourages great value and instills hope for our country. There is no need to be alarmed over education in America. While many critics are quick to point out the fact that American students have fallen behind in the academic realm, they fell to mention that the American students rank high in competitiveness and creativity, giving the American students the advantage (Bracey, par. 1). • 7. The American Education System Education American Education System Education plays important role in society. It determines the final development of an adult's personality. In today's society most jobs require a University degree. To receive a University degree students need to rely on a good education system. Does America provide this? The American education system has relied on the grade point average system for a long time. The problem with this is there is not a universal GPA grade point system varying from course to course. This creates an inaccurate way to determine ones overall achievements. Teachers have different standards than others, grade inflation can occur and students can be exposed to different learning environments. Does the education system need to change to create fairness? The American education system has not changed drastically since the 1900s. In the early 1900's before grading, teachers were expected to communicate in depth to their students on how they were doing in the class. This worked well for small groups and individual tutoring. The ability for this information to be passed on to those who were not involved with the learning process, such as employers and parents was limited. By the mid 20th century schools changed drastically as they introduced grades in the form of letters. The American schools now became more standardized as A, B, C, D and F represented ones grade. Depending what percentage a student received determined letter they got. An example is an A is a mark of 90–100% Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Education In America Essay If there was a one cure all for all the ailments that trouble our society it would be education. As a female Arab Muslim girl in America I can guarantee that all the bigotry, hatred, poverty, and deceitfulness that happens can be solved if education were accessible and free to everyone. Education is different than just being literate, being educated is being able to distinguish between superstitions that were imposed on us by society, and what is actually true. Education is at the core of what makes us humans and for it to be withheld from some people because of gender is the soil were poverty and ignorance will grow. As a woman getting education in my home country is, sadly, very difficult. Many societies look at an educated women as being an oddity. And I respect her for that, I respect any woman who struggles to get a job in STEM related fields because of the bias that exists there, or who does her best to make sure her children have a brighter future than her. Whenever I stress about a bad grade or hard homework I tell myself that "Malala did not get shot in the head and live, so that I can drop out of school" and it is this that inspires me to work harder. Even though I am nothing like her I am doing my part in fighting in her cause. I am getting myself an education so that I can stand with those two million girls who fight to get theirs'. I am doing my part by guaranteeing my future to be more than just a housewife. I am guaranteeing it to be like what my mother taught me "If you educate a mother, you educate an entire Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Benefit Of Education In America When I think of the gifts America have given to my generation, I think education. Education is highly needed and we, as American's, take that for granted sometimes. In some countries education is not free and it is sometimes not even available. Kids in America complain about school when in other countries it is dream to go to school for children. In fact, 61 million school–age children are not in school today (GlobalCitizen.org). In other countries children not educated and sometimes they are not literate. Education is a big deal in children's lives because without education, children will grow up and not have the skills they need to get a job to support themselves. • 10. The greatest country in the world still has problems evenly distributing education to its youth. The articles I have read for this unit have a common theme regarding our education system. The authors illustrate to the reader about the struggles in America concerning how we obtain and education. Oppression, politics, racism, and socioeconomic status are a few examples of what is wrong with our country and its means of delivering a fair education to all Americans. Doctor Benjamin Barber's article The Educated Student: Global Citizen or Global Consumer? discusses how the schools are being attacked by advertising campaigns. Barber talks about the poor school districts being targeted by a company called Channel One. Channel One provides...show more content... America has spent more money supporting our operations in the Middle East than we will ever spend on education for our children. Doctor Barber makes the statement clear in the title of the article that we are introduced into "brand learning" in schools. So are we citizens or consumers? Can we be both and still be successful? The article states that poor schools are propositioned by Channel One as I mentioned earlier, and that this type of propaganda spans out into universities as well. Doctor Barber poses the question, what type of soda machines are in your school. At the University of Oklahoma we have a Starbucks, Wendy's, Sbarro's, and many more. Overall I think Doctor Barber's assumptions of America's students is we are living life in neutral, not because we are lazy, but because we are a product of what our education systems and our government are making us. He suggests that we could be pushed into overdrive if we obtain an education and learn through others languages and cultures. We can push on if we can avoid or block out some of the advertising propaganda that we are force fed as children. In Jonathan Kozol's article Still Separate, Still Unequal, he states the poorer parts of our larger cities have fewer white children and are made up of mostly black and Latino children. • 11. Value Of Education In America Education in America is highly valued, but are kids being educated in today's age in the right way? There are arguments about how different schools have certain methods of teaching that no school is the same. Kids that go from K–12 are always drilled into believing that they have two options to either work hard and go to college for a degree, or to fail and not get anywhere and end up working low paying jobs. Traditional views of schooling are affecting kids and there must be a more positive solution to fix that. The educational system must address the issues on how kids that go from k–12 are being graded, and how schools are teaching students to conform to a certain norm and not to let their creativity bloom. Grading has always been a part Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Public Education In America Essay Since 1983 public education has been an issue in America. The system has been constantly changing every year with reforms. This constant change has been driven by the American people's perception that education has declined and something should be done about it. First there was an increased emphasis on basic skills, making school years longer and more graduation requirements. Second, many began focusing on increasing teachers professionalism. Third, they began restructuring many things such as how the schools were organized and how the school day was structured etc. Now today the most of the American people believe that not enough money is given to public schooling. They associate academic improvement with the money the school is funded....show more content... But then again funds on schools are not the same from state to state. This can be explained by the different educational input costs like real estate and teachers salaries. But that's a whole other story. Funding for schools is not the issue obviously it just needs more of a balancing. The balancing can help out drastically because there will not be a huge gap in the financing of schools. In other words, many Americans will not have to worry about their child attending a school with overcrowded classrooms. Also academic achievement has a lot more to do with someone as an individual. Students with certain backgrounds and family lives tend to have different beliefs and outlooks on life. This should be handled by trying to influence them through programs to teach them that even though we all come from different places we all should have the same goal in mind and that's to better ourselves. There was a time when school counselors actually counseled students who needed guidance in school and even in life. Counselors now deal with paper work and schedules leaving no time for the student with no positive influence in life. The Americans who thinks the money is an issue, needs to see this as an issue as well. Many Americans seem to share the view that government spending more money on education will improve academic success. According to Get more content on HelpWriting.net

The main issue today's public schools faces are funding problems. There is not enough money allocated to support the growing needs of school across the nation. Most of the other problems the schools face are directly related to the funding issue. Buildings are run down and sometimes mobile because of the lack of finances. No child wants to go to school in a dreary building that smells bad. It makes it hard to concentrate and hard to study in buildings such as this. Every school has some type of sport being played by the students. For some, sports are the only reason they do not drop out of school. However, if finances are not available then the school should focus mostly on the education of all of its students as a whole, not just a few who think they cannot make it without sports. Without the financial issues, schools have even more problems. School violence is becoming more and more common. School should be a place where children come to learn and be with their peers, in a very good environment. It should not be a place where children are afraid to go because of the anger or hurt of other children. This is probably the major issue of the public today. No matter what the issue, schools have important issues that they have to work around and with everyday to Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Incidentally, society has established several opportunities and solutions to decrease hunger. However, society seems to be unaware that acquiring acollege degree diminishes the number of people that suffer from hunger.
