3. Process – Week 1
• In the first week of the production
of my music video, one of my
friends filmed me playing the song
'Buried Alive' by Avenged
Sevenfold on my electric guitar.
One time I played the solo section
in the middle of the song, and the
other time I played the rhythm
section. This was for two reasons:
so I could have twice the amount
of footage I would have gotten if I
had only filmed myself playing
guitar once, and so I had more of
a choice between whether I
wanted to show myself playing a
rhythm section or a solo in my
music video.

4. Process – week 2
• In the second week of my music
video production, after collecting
all the footage from York College
that I needed for my music video, I
placed all the footage into my
video editor, along with an mp3
file of the song 'Buried Alive' by
Avenged Sevenfold. It took me a
while, but I managed to sync up all
the footage to the music, so it
looked like I was playing the song
at the same time the song was
playing. During the editing
process, I decided to do another
recording of me lip-syncing to
Buried Alive in my office, in order
to give the viewer something
different from me playing on my
electric guitar to look at during
the music video.

5. Process – week 2-2
• As well as that, I decided to
insert text (that text being the
lyrics to the song 'Buried Alive'
in time with M. Shadows
singing the actual song. I also
decided to alternate between
the three clips that I had
recorded, while also cutting at
parts I thought were
appropriate (like the end of
lines of the song, during
prominent beats that can be
clearly heard in the song and
other such portions).
