Cause And Effect Essay On Bullying
Bullying has been around for a very long time and has caused damaged to far too many people. Anyone at any age can be a victim of bullying. This
also goes for being the one to bully; anyone can be that person. Unfortunately, it occurs in numerous ways. Two big categories of bullying are traditional
bullying and cyberbullying. There many different things a person can do to be considered a bully. Bullying is more than just being mean to another
person and has led to terrible outcomes but it can be prevented.
Bullying is considered a behavior that is aggressive (Duy, pg.987). Another word for bullying is victimization. There are three things that make a
persons' behavior considered bullying. One is aggressiveness or purposefully harming someone that causes anguish. Another is repeated actions over a
period of time. The third thing is there is an imbalance of power, where the bully shows their dominance towards another person to intimidate them.
There are researchers who claim there are three different ways of bullying, physical, verbal, and psychological. Physical bullying is harming someone
by punching, kicking, pushing or beating. Verbal bullying examples are verbal threats, making fun of someone by name calling, spreading rumors, and
insults. Psychological bullying is said to be writing threats and damaging or destroying someone's property (Duy, pg. 988). Other studies have five
categories of bullying, indirect, relational, physical, verbal and generic. Relational bullying

Suicidal thoughts and actions of children from the ages of 5 to 17 have more than doubled in the past 9 years according to Pediatric Health System.
One of the biggest problems our society deals with today is bullying. Merriam–Webster defines bullying as "abuse and mistreatment of someone
vulnerable by someone stronger, more powerful, etc.". There are three main types of bullying: social, verbal and physical. Social bullying entails
leaving someone out of a group on purpose, encouraging other people to not to be friends with someone, spreading false rumors or information, and
embarrassing someone in public/online. Verbal bullying is very similar, however it consists of teasing, name–calling, taunting and threatening to cause
harm to someone. Finally, physical bullying includes hitting, kicking, pinching, spitting, tripping, pushing, taking or breaking someone's things and
making mean or rude hand gestures. When a combination of these three bullying elements come into place, a young child's life can be changed
forever if communication with parents or teachers occur. Bullying is one of the leading reasons for plummeting self esteem, mediocre academic
achievement, depression and suicide. This is caused by children, teens and adults who have experienced the repercussions of poor parenting and
neglect at home or school. Because this prominent issue in American culture could be easily avoided, it is necessary for all people to understand the

Cause And Effect Essay About Bullying
Bullying is an epidemic that affects approximately 1/5 students. Bullying can cause issues such as anxiety, depression, drops in grades, and sleep
issues. Sometimes victims who are bullied feel they have no way out, and unfortunately, take their own lives. Many feel angered that bullying cases are
not taken seriously enough and that bullies should be faced with charges. Others feel that bullies are not old enough to understand the consequences of
their actions and shouldn't be responsible for what victims do to themselves. Bullies should be held legally responsible for their actions.
First and foremost, bulling is identical to crimes. According to Merriam Webster's legal dictionary, to harass is defined as to subject persistently and
wrongfully to annoying, offensive, or troubling behavior. Bullies regularly torment and ridicule others to make them feel inferior. It can cause serious
harm to victims and affect how they live. Many students report negative health effects, such as stomachaches, anxiety, and depression, according to
Pacer's National Bullying Prevention Center. dosomething.org reported 160,000 students skip school every day because of bullying, and 1/10
students drop out. Going back to Pacer's article, bullied peers are 2.6 times more likely to take their own lives. If this was taking place in a
workplace, the bully would be fired for the effects they had on the victim and tried for harassment. Harassment is nearly identical to bullying, so why

Bullying can affect everyone those who are bullied, those who bully, and those who witness bullying.
There are kids who would want to be homeschooled instead and won't have to deal with the constant
taunting from people. These kids get bullied for multiple things. It could be because of their physical
appearance or how they act in front of people. It is usually about physical appearance. Kids who are
bullied can experience negative physical, school, and mental health issues.

changes in sleep and eating patterns, and loss of interest in activities they used to enjoy. These issues
may persist into adulthood.Furthermore, health complaints increase and academic achievement like

Bullying is an undesirable, truculent behavior involving mostly children in school. This behavior is repeated, or has the prospective of being repeated
over time. Bullying can sometimes effect us by making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone verbally or physically, and debarring someone
from a group on purpose. Being bullied is not a good feeling that someone can be inducted to. People who bullies others use their ability or potential –
such as embarrassment, to control or abuse others and last but not lease their physical strength. The victim or the person is sometime referred to as the
target. Ninety percent of children grades third through eighth said that they were victims of bullying. The main cause of death for children under the
age of fourteen is suicide. Physical bulling expands in elementary school, peaks in middle school, and diminish in high school. However, verbal
abuse remains constant. Bullying is a huge complication now in our society/generation and now it is taking place at our schools. But, that is not the
only opulence that school can offer, they can also be a combat zone, a place of endurance for some may think, where the notorious and attractive are
rewarded and valued, while the penniless are being bullied every second of the hour. Being that there are different factors that may harm a person's
actions it may be caused by the environment, history and other related material. Bullying can take place before, during, or after school hours. Being

Cause And Effect Essay About Bullying
Throughout the years and across generations, bullying has continued to be the problem that it is today. Despite growing concern towards bullying, it
has commonly been seen as an issue that one must face on his or her own. An experience that toughens children to help prepare them for the "real
world" outside of school. Viewpoints may be based on political orientation: conservatives are more likely to believe that with the issue of bullying,
responsibility lies in individuals, while liberals argue for society–based responsibility (Kim & Telleen, 2016). Either way may be misguided if blame is
rested on the victims themselves rather than on the bullies, which is often found to be the case (Kim & Telleen, 2016). Such beliefs can be
dangerous, as bullying can sometimes lead to violence. Kids who are able to wield power and control, and brandish it against other kids, are likely to
do so. But not only does bullying lead to violence from the bullies themselves. According to a guide from the U.S. Department of Justice, "in two–thirds
of the recent school shootings (for which the shooter was still alive to report), the attackers had previously been bullied" (Sampson, 2009). Bullying
is by nature an aggressive act. As such the negativity from it rubs of on victims and on other students. This may be why different people will see
different parties as being guilty or responsible of acts of bullying. Regardless of who is to blame for such acts, awareness of the issue itself is growing.

Cause And Effect Essay On Bullying
As a child grows, their parents are their role model. When developing a child look up to their parents for everything such as food, shelter, and
affection. They not only need a sense of belonging in a home but also in a school environment. While a child develops, they are influenced by many
factors in their life such as family and friends, school and their environment. Although all of these factors influence a child's life, evidence suggests that
being bullied is significantly associated with feelings of anxiety. Victims ofbullying and bullies are more likely to drop out of school, want to have a
sense of belonging with other, and have suicidal thought than people who are not bullied. While Some might argue that bullying and anxiety are the
product of dysfunctional homes, others claim that their behavior is influenced by their environment and the people around them.
Many students who are being bullied have bad grades in class and want to drought out of school and having anxiety make it even worse. The article
"school bullying and your child life" states that " bullies often target anxious children to begin with and the process can develop into a vicious cycle
that continues to annihilate your child's mental and even physical health"(Presta). Many kids stay out of school each day because they're afraid of
being bullied. Many Students who have low self–esteem or trouble making friends are often victims of bullies, and students are more likely become
victims if they are typically quiet and reserved. Students who feel anxious at school score lower in science and are less satisfied with their life. Many
other say that bullying can not only occurs in schools, but also in homes. Older siblings can taunt, tease, and push around younger siblings. Siblings
are not the only ones that can abuse their power negatively, but so can Parents. In the article it states," Bullying is not just a school issue; it extends
past the school walls into the community and might begin in the home"(Garby 2013). bullying and anxiety does not have place or season to happen it
is an issue that can be found anywhere, at any time, and from anyone.
The influence of peers can determine the behavior of the student towards others.

Cause And Effect Essay About Bullying
Bullying is a growing problem among young members of today's society. However, bullying can be prevented in several ways for the victims and
there are ways to get over the traumatic experience.
In first through fourth grade, my brother was subjected to bullying by his peers. It started when they claimed things about him that were not true. In
first and second grade, the bullies would tease him about anything they could think of, like him being a baby and a weirdo. In third and fourth grade,
things began to get more serious. While the bullies still called him names, they also began to push and shove him. They even hit him. In fourth grade,
other students threw things at him, hit him, and punched him. One time, in the school library, one of the bullies began to kick him in the leg. So my
brother slapped the bully in the face to protect himself. It had gotten so bad for my brother that one day, while leaving the lunchroom at school, one of
the bullies decided to choke him. My family took a drastic step to protect my brother from the bullying he dealt with almost every day. He got out of
the bullying situation by staying behind a grade to be with another class. This separated him from the bullies in his own grade, so they could no longer
hurt him. Those recurring attacks really hurt his self esteem, and can turn into a traumatic experience for anyone it happens to.
Bullying can happen to anyone. There are many reasons for why bullies victimize others and behave the way they do. However, there are many ways
to properly inform young adults on how to prevent bullying, and what to do if you witness it. There are ways for a victim to help themselves or others
to help the situation.
Bullying is when a person is victimized continuously by an individual or group with more physical or social power. There is more than one type of
bullying. Four types of bullying are verbal, physical, social and cyber bullying. (Bullying Definition).
When a bully says or writes unfriendly and/or threatening things to his or her victim, this is Verbal Bullying. When a verbal bullying occurs, the bully
may tease the victim about topics such as their appearance, weaknesses, or social standing. He or she may call them unwanted names such as

Feelings of anxiety and fear were running through a 13–year old student's mind as she walked through the hallway at Forest Park Middle School. Her
mind had become a whirlpool of nerve–filled thoughts, rushing through her mind at a million miles an hour as two female students approached her. Do
I look weird? I am I doing something wrong? Did I say something wrong? the student asked herself.
They started off small, just smirking and giggling to themselves as they made discourteous comments and called the other girl names, because of who
she was friends with.
"You ruined everyone's life," said one of the bullies as they laughed to themselves.
The perplexed victim just ignored them at first and didn't let their childish actions bother her. At this time however, she did not know that this would
continue for days and become the new norm for her, just like the other 3.2 million students in the United States that face bullying every day.
Bullying is something that occurs very often, and it can lead to terrible effects and even suicidal thoughts and actions. It can happen almost anywhere,
but the most common place is a classroom or school environment. So many students of all ages are faced with different forms of bullying, including
cyber bullying, physical bullying, and verbal bullying. As a matter of fact, according to the article Bullying Statistics by Youth Ambassadors 4 Kids, a

ВЁAmerican schools harbor approximately 2.1 million bullies and 2.7 million of their victims (Bullying Statistics)." Bullying is an aggressive
behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power of disparity. Face to face bullying, and cyberbullying doesn't only affect
the victim and the bully, but it also affects each of their families and friends. There are thousands effects ofbullying, but the most influential outcomes
are school shootings, suicide, and psychological issues. Bullying isn't just a part of being a kid, it is a part of life. Sometimes bullying just goes
to far and pushes the victim(s) over the edge. When these teens are bullied they often are left with a feeling of weakness and feeling alone. Then
they try to regain all of their power by seeking fury to unleash upon the teenagers who bullied them until they snapped. These teens are more than
likely to bring a weapon to school than other students, and they are more than likely to feel a sense of power over themselves while everybody else
runs for their life. Such as Dylan Klebold, and Eric Harris of Columbine High School. Klebold and Harris planned their shooting for a year and were
extremely influenced by the Oklahoma City Bombing. They wired their own cars with bombs; they brought propane bombs into the cafeteria, and they
also had automatic weapons and shotguns to kill any survivors of the bombs. Their original plans were to wipe out about six hundred students with the
bombs, then

For one to act upon bullying, they must know what is going on throughout the world relating the issue. Bullying is a reoccurring situation that affects
many children and teens of all ages. Most bullying takes place throughout school systems. It can be on the playground, in the hallways and even on the
school bus going to and from school. Bullying can start by spreading rumors, spreading a personal secret of an individual, or can be created by
making a treat. Children and teens of all ages most of the time get bullied because they don't fit in with societies looks. Whether the individual is fat,
too skinny, or wears glasses. The bully picks on the other kids without considering how it may make the victim feel. This problem is nothing new in
society. Ignoring bullying has only made it increase dramatically amongst children and teens. Bullying throughout the world has been a big problem in
home life and has created problems with self–esteem. Children and teens have been traumatized and abused mentally and physically, which has
resulted in the individual damaging their bodies because they are so unhappy with who they are. This issue has even lead to suicide. I have seen
how bullying affects young children. I have a really good friend that has a younger brother and he is 9. I stay with them some of the time. He is just
like any other kid, but the thing that separates him is that he has a minor case of autism and he has been babied his own life so he doesn't know how

start thinking crazy thoughts about death. Parents are losing their kids to bullies, which may lead them into depression. All of these issues can

Bullying: Cause and Effect Bullying is one of America's largest current problems involving children and teens, it is serious, destructive, and harmful
and desperately needs to stop. Bullying is not secluded to one area of America, it is alive in many homes and schools. Bullies play an enormous role
in causing their peers to injure themselves, become mentally unstable, struggle with depression, and potentially commit suicide. Many encounters with
bullies are kept silent, which can be extremely dangerous to the victim. There are many different circumstances that play a role in causing a kid to
bully another kid. There are also many solutions that desperately need to be placed in action to help fix the awful situation of bullying. It is dangerous
and has the ability to devour many harmless lives.
The act of bullying by definition is, "to frighten, hurt, or threaten (a smaller or weaker person)" and "to cause (someone) to do something by making
threats or insults or by using force" ("Bully"). The definitions release the knowledge of how dangerous bullying is and what kind of harm it can do to
a person. A person is only technically bullied if he or she feels threatened repeatedly. The victim may find it hard to protect himself against the bully.
Before one can claim that they are actually being bullied, the act must continue for at least 6 months; it must be persistent (BULLYING : B &

Cause And Effect Essay On School Bullying
School bullying is a major issue that can contribute to depression, talking about or showing an interest in death or dying, and engaging in dangerous or
harmful activities. School tormenting goes unnoticed and this is the reason nothing is being done about this national travesty. Harassing conduct is not
another issue, however in spite of the endeavors of numerous, the issue keeps on plaguing our understudies and schools (Lawrence). More than 14
percent of secondary school understudies have considered suicide, and just about 7 percent have endeavored it (Cohn,et. al). Bullying can hurt the
strongest of people and it will tear you apart if you do not get help.
School bullying contributes to deep depression. People do not realize what a person really goes through on a regular basis and bullying pushes it
even further. "Dr. Andre Sourander, a professor of child psychiatry at the University of Turku in Finland, reported that children who are bullied in
early childhood have an increased risk of depressive disorders and need psychiatric treatment later in life" (Cari Nierenberg of Live Science.).
Moreover, kids who are being exploited to depression may even progress toward becoming harassers themselves to remove a portion of the weight.
This impact is what drives bullying to new links and never seems to end. Saying hurtful things to a child who has not even reached the age of
adulthood can have a lasting impact on them that causes depression can linger for the rest of their life.

Bullying: The Need to Control Bullying and cyber bullying is extremely common throughout schools and is a major problem that needs attention. The
current rules and punishments for bullying in schools are not enough and not enforced. life is a tough journey but, not everyone is a fighter. The fault
in finding solutions to this problem is that no one has come up with a successful solution to resolve the situation. Bullying is a serious matter that needs
to be stopped. When it comes to bullying the definition is often misunderstood. Bullying is when an individual or a group of people with more
power, repeatedly cause hurt or harm to a person who feels helpless to respond. Bullying can continue over time if no action is taken. People may
be bruised, injured, or even killed. Parents, relatives, friends, and pictures may all influence people, especially when they are depressed or in a
lowered state of mind to bully someone. Some parents have lost their children to suicide due to "bullying" or "Cyber Bullying", while siblings suffer
the loss of losing a brother or sister. Bullying has become a national epidemic throughout elementary schools, middle schools and high schools in
America. "Cyber Bullying" has grown in recent years due to the increase usage of technology and mobile devices. Cyber–bullying issues are more
likely to happen at schools, social networking, and mobile phones. The person being bullied will be noticed when one appears to be angry, depressed

Bullying is the most common form of school violence. According to PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center, "one in every five students report
being bullied." Anybody can be a bully and anybody can be a victim of bullying. Bullying is generally all about control; bullies use superior strength
to intimidate peers. There are many reasons a bully can have for bullying people, but no matter the cause, there will always be an effect on the
victimized student because of his or her actions. There are two modes that bullying can occur: direct (face to face) and indirect (cyberbullying); both
methods of bullying have a huge impact on the victim. Bullying has a serious negative effect on people. As a result of bullying, people are negatively
impacted physically and mentally. The victim can take the pain of bullying differently and becoming a bully or even have suicidal thoughts. When
one is bullied they become lonely and face depression. There is a decrease in the academics of students who are bullied.

Effects of Bullying In the 2014–2015 school years, 292,400 students reported being bullied out of a total of 763,000 students (Student Reports of
Bullying: results From the 2015 School Crime Supplement to the National Crime Victimization Survey, National Center for Education
statistics(NCES)). Bullying affects people greatly. There are many types of bullying, such as, physical, verbal, and cyber, which is over the internet.
Not only does it affect one's physical appearance, but some forms of bullying have a huge impact on a person's mental health. Bullying can lead to an
abundance of different consequences such as, self–harm, suicide, or violence toward others. Nonsuicidal self–injury refers to the deliberate destruction
of one's body tissue without suicidal intent. Forms of self–harm include cutting, burning, and self–hitting (Lewis, Steven P, Nonsuicidal Self Injury,
Canadian Medical Association Journal (CMAJ)). Self–harm is a form of self–bullying. Self–bullying can include criticizing yourself for not being
"perfect", blaming outside events or actions of others on yourself. "Being overly self–critical and hard on yourself is a very common depressed
thinking habit and one of the key ways that depression reinforces itself and becomes entrenched." (Self Bullying, StudentsAgainstDepression).
Although self–harm is not suicidal, self–injury can eventually lead to someone taking their own life. Suicide is another consequence resulting from
bullying. Daniel Fitzpatrick,

Cause And Effect Essay On Bullying

  • 1. Cause And Effect Essay On Bullying Bullying has been around for a very long time and has caused damaged to far too many people. Anyone at any age can be a victim of bullying. This also goes for being the one to bully; anyone can be that person. Unfortunately, it occurs in numerous ways. Two big categories of bullying are traditional bullying and cyberbullying. There many different things a person can do to be considered a bully. Bullying is more than just being mean to another person and has led to terrible outcomes but it can be prevented. Bullying is considered a behavior that is aggressive (Duy, pg.987). Another word for bullying is victimization. There are three things that make a persons' behavior considered bullying. One is aggressiveness or purposefully harming someone that causes anguish. Another is repeated actions over a period of time. The third thing is there is an imbalance of power, where the bully shows their dominance towards another person to intimidate them. There are researchers who claim there are three different ways of bullying, physical, verbal, and psychological. Physical bullying is harming someone by punching, kicking, pushing or beating. Verbal bullying examples are verbal threats, making fun of someone by name calling, spreading rumors, and insults. Psychological bullying is said to be writing threats and damaging or destroying someone's property (Duy, pg. 988). Other studies have five categories of bullying, indirect, relational, physical, verbal and generic. Relational bullying Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Cause And Effect Essay On Bullying Suicidal thoughts and actions of children from the ages of 5 to 17 have more than doubled in the past 9 years according to Pediatric Health System. One of the biggest problems our society deals with today is bullying. Merriam–Webster defines bullying as "abuse and mistreatment of someone vulnerable by someone stronger, more powerful, etc.". There are three main types of bullying: social, verbal and physical. Social bullying entails leaving someone out of a group on purpose, encouraging other people to not to be friends with someone, spreading false rumors or information, and embarrassing someone in public/online. Verbal bullying is very similar, however it consists of teasing, name–calling, taunting and threatening to cause harm to someone. Finally, physical bullying includes hitting, kicking, pinching, spitting, tripping, pushing, taking or breaking someone's things and making mean or rude hand gestures. When a combination of these three bullying elements come into place, a young child's life can be changed forever if communication with parents or teachers occur. Bullying is one of the leading reasons for plummeting self esteem, mediocre academic achievement, depression and suicide. This is caused by children, teens and adults who have experienced the repercussions of poor parenting and neglect at home or school. Because this prominent issue in American culture could be easily avoided, it is necessary for all people to understand the causing factors and effects of Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Cause And Effect Essay About Bullying Bullying is an epidemic that affects approximately 1/5 students. Bullying can cause issues such as anxiety, depression, drops in grades, and sleep issues. Sometimes victims who are bullied feel they have no way out, and unfortunately, take their own lives. Many feel angered that bullying cases are not taken seriously enough and that bullies should be faced with charges. Others feel that bullies are not old enough to understand the consequences of their actions and shouldn't be responsible for what victims do to themselves. Bullies should be held legally responsible for their actions. First and foremost, bulling is identical to crimes. According to Merriam Webster's legal dictionary, to harass is defined as to subject persistently and wrongfully to annoying, offensive, or troubling behavior. Bullies regularly torment and ridicule others to make them feel inferior. It can cause serious harm to victims and affect how they live. Many students report negative health effects, such as stomachaches, anxiety, and depression, according to Pacer's National Bullying Prevention Center. dosomething.org reported 160,000 students skip school every day because of bullying, and 1/10 students drop out. Going back to Pacer's article, bullied peers are 2.6 times more likely to take their own lives. If this was taking place in a workplace, the bully would be fired for the effects they had on the victim and tried for harassment. Harassment is nearly identical to bullying, so why does only one have Get more content on HelpWriting.net

"According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, suicide is the 12th leading cause of death and the third leading cause of death in people between ages 15 and 24. Bullying can affect everyone those who are bullied, those who bully, and those who witness bullying. • 6. Cause And Effect Essay On Bullying Bullying is an undesirable, truculent behavior involving mostly children in school. This behavior is repeated, or has the prospective of being repeated over time. Bullying can sometimes effect us by making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone verbally or physically, and debarring someone from a group on purpose. Being bullied is not a good feeling that someone can be inducted to. People who bullies others use their ability or potential – such as embarrassment, to control or abuse others and last but not lease their physical strength. The victim or the person is sometime referred to as the target. Ninety percent of children grades third through eighth said that they were victims of bullying. The main cause of death for children under the age of fourteen is suicide. Physical bulling expands in elementary school, peaks in middle school, and diminish in high school. However, verbal abuse remains constant. Bullying is a huge complication now in our society/generation and now it is taking place at our schools. But, that is not the only opulence that school can offer, they can also be a combat zone, a place of endurance for some may think, where the notorious and attractive are rewarded and valued, while the penniless are being bullied every second of the hour. Being that there are different factors that may harm a person's actions it may be caused by the environment, history and other related material. Bullying can take place before, during, or after school hours. Being Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Cause And Effect Essay About Bullying Throughout the years and across generations, bullying has continued to be the problem that it is today. Despite growing concern towards bullying, it has commonly been seen as an issue that one must face on his or her own. An experience that toughens children to help prepare them for the "real world" outside of school. Viewpoints may be based on political orientation: conservatives are more likely to believe that with the issue of bullying, responsibility lies in individuals, while liberals argue for society–based responsibility (Kim & Telleen, 2016). Either way may be misguided if blame is rested on the victims themselves rather than on the bullies, which is often found to be the case (Kim & Telleen, 2016). Such beliefs can be dangerous, as bullying can sometimes lead to violence. Kids who are able to wield power and control, and brandish it against other kids, are likely to do so. But not only does bullying lead to violence from the bullies themselves. According to a guide from the U.S. Department of Justice, "in two–thirds of the recent school shootings (for which the shooter was still alive to report), the attackers had previously been bullied" (Sampson, 2009). Bullying is by nature an aggressive act. As such the negativity from it rubs of on victims and on other students. This may be why different people will see different parties as being guilty or responsible of acts of bullying. Regardless of who is to blame for such acts, awareness of the issue itself is growing. They not only need a sense of belonging in a home but also in a school environment. While a child develops, they are influenced by many factors in their life such as family and friends, school and their environment. Although all of these factors influence a child's life, evidence suggests that being bullied is significantly associated with feelings of anxiety. Victims ofbullying and bullies are more likely to drop out of school, want to have a sense of belonging with other, and have suicidal thought than people who are not bullied. While Some might argue that bullying and anxiety are the product of dysfunctional homes, others claim that their behavior is influenced by their environment and the people around them. Many students who are being bullied have bad grades in class and want to drought out of school and having anxiety make it even worse. The article "school bullying and your child life" states that " bullies often target anxious children to begin with and the process can develop into a vicious cycle that continues to annihilate your child's mental and even physical health"(Presta). • 9. Cause And Effect Essay About Bullying Bullying is a growing problem among young members of today's society. However, bullying can be prevented in several ways for the victims and there are ways to get over the traumatic experience. In first through fourth grade, my brother was subjected to bullying by his peers. It started when they claimed things about him that were not true. In first and second grade, the bullies would tease him about anything they could think of, like him being a baby and a weirdo. In third and fourth grade, things began to get more serious. While the bullies still called him names, they also began to push and shove him. They even hit him. In fourth grade, other students threw things at him, hit him, and punched him. One time, in the school library, one of the bullies began to kick him in the leg. So my brother slapped the bully in the face to protect himself. It had gotten so bad for my brother that one day, while leaving the lunchroom at school, one of the bullies decided to choke him. My family took a drastic step to protect my brother from the bullying he dealt with almost every day. He got out of the bullying situation by staying behind a grade to be with another class. This separated him from the bullies in his own grade, so they could no longer hurt him. Those recurring attacks really hurt his self esteem, and can turn into a traumatic experience for anyone it happens to. Bullying can happen to anyone. There are many reasons for why bullies victimize others and behave the way they do. However, there are many ways to properly inform young adults on how to prevent bullying, and what to do if you witness it. There are ways for a victim to help themselves or others to help the situation. Bullying is when a person is victimized continuously by an individual or group with more physical or social power. There is more than one type of bullying. Four types of bullying are verbal, physical, social and cyber bullying. (Bullying Definition). When a bully says or writes unfriendly and/or threatening things to his or her victim, this is Verbal Bullying. When a verbal bullying occurs, the bully may tease the victim about topics such as their appearance, weaknesses, or social standing. He or she may call them unwanted names such as Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Cause And Effect Essay About Bullying Feelings of anxiety and fear were running through a 13–year old student's mind as she walked through the hallway at Forest Park Middle School. Her mind had become a whirlpool of nerve–filled thoughts, rushing through her mind at a million miles an hour as two female students approached her. Do I look weird? I am I doing something wrong? Did I say something wrong? the student asked herself. They started off small, just smirking and giggling to themselves as they made discourteous comments and called the other girl names, because of who she was friends with. "You ruined everyone's life," said one of the bullies as they laughed to themselves. The perplexed victim just ignored them at first and didn't let their childish actions bother her. At this time however, she did not know that this would continue for days and become the new norm for her, just like the other 3.2 million students in the United States that face bullying every day. Bullying is something that occurs very often, and it can lead to terrible effects and even suicidal thoughts and actions. It can happen almost anywhere, but the most common place is a classroom or school environment. So many students of all ages are faced with different forms of bullying, including cyber bullying, physical bullying, and verbal bullying. As a matter of fact, according to the article Bullying Statistics by Youth Ambassadors 4 Kids, a club made to prevent and stop bullying and other forms of abuse in our schools and communities, 77% Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. Cause And Effects On Bullying ВЁAmerican schools harbor approximately 2.1 million bullies and 2.7 million of their victims (Bullying Statistics)." Bullying is an aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power of disparity. Face to face bullying, and cyberbullying doesn't only affect the victim and the bully, but it also affects each of their families and friends. There are thousands effects ofbullying, but the most influential outcomes are school shootings, suicide, and psychological issues. Bullying isn't just a part of being a kid, it is a part of life. Sometimes bullying just goes to far and pushes the victim(s) over the edge. When these teens are bullied they often are left with a feeling of weakness and feeling alone. Then they try to regain all of their power by seeking fury to unleash upon the teenagers who bullied them until they snapped. These teens are more than likely to bring a weapon to school than other students, and they are more than likely to feel a sense of power over themselves while everybody else runs for their life. Such as Dylan Klebold, and Eric Harris of Columbine High School. Klebold and Harris planned their shooting for a year and were extremely influenced by the Oklahoma City Bombing. They wired their own cars with bombs; they brought propane bombs into the cafeteria, and they also had automatic weapons and shotguns to kill any survivors of the bombs. Their original plans were to wipe out about six hundred students with the bombs, then Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Cause And Effect Essay On Bullying For one to act upon bullying, they must know what is going on throughout the world relating the issue. Bullying is a reoccurring situation that affects many children and teens of all ages. Most bullying takes place throughout school systems. It can be on the playground, in the hallways and even on the school bus going to and from school. Bullying can start by spreading rumors, spreading a personal secret of an individual, or can be created by making a treat. Children and teens of all ages most of the time get bullied because they don't fit in with societies looks. Whether the individual is fat, too skinny, or wears glasses. The bully picks on the other kids without considering how it may make the victim feel. This problem is nothing new in society. Ignoring bullying has only made it increase dramatically amongst children and teens. Bullying throughout the world has been a big problem in home life and has created problems with self–esteem. Children and teens have been traumatized and abused mentally and physically, which has resulted in the individual damaging their bodies because they are so unhappy with who they are. This issue has even lead to suicide. I have seen how bullying affects young children. I have a really good friend that has a younger brother and he is 9. I stay with them some of the time. He is just like any other kid, but the thing that separates him is that he has a minor case of autism and he has been babied his own life so he doesn't know how to act in Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 16. Bullying : Cause And Effect Emilie Chambers Professor Ulysses Mack English 1302 1 December 2014 Research Paper Bullying: Cause and Effect Bullying is one of America's largest current problems involving children and teens, it is serious, destructive, and harmful and desperately needs to stop. Bullying is not secluded to one area of America, it is alive in many homes and schools. Bullies play an enormous role in causing their peers to injure themselves, become mentally unstable, struggle with depression, and potentially commit suicide. Many encounters with bullies are kept silent, which can be extremely dangerous to the victim. There are many different circumstances that play a role in causing a kid to bully another kid.
