Fever is a wonderful historical fiction by Laurie Halse Anderson. She has written many historical novels and Fever is one of her greatest works.
This story took place in Philadelphia in 1793, when yellow fever just began to strike and kill thousands of people . Matilda Cook "little Mattie" is a
daughter of a coffee shop owner. She's a fourteen– year– old girl who works for her widowed mother. She works with a girl named Polly and a kitchen
cook Eliza, a woman from the Free African Society. Mattie always tries to make her family's coffee shop the finest in Philadelphia. In this book, she

Like Mattie, Anne lived in a frightful time of the World War II, when the Nazis killed many Jews, blaming that they were the reason why Germany
was defeated in the World War I. Both Mattie and Anne had to leave their homes and hid somewhere else in order to survive. Both of them had to
watch people die at very young ages. But they had one good thing in common. Mattie and Anne did not give up their hope and courage even in
heartbreaking moments. They tried to look at the bright side when many people only saw the opposite. This book might have focused mainly on
yellow fever and Mattie's survival at that time, but I think the change that occurred inside her was important, as well. I wasn't really a big fan of
historical fictions because I didn't like reading books that looked like social studies textbooks. I especially didn't want to read this book because
there was a huge '1793' written on the cover. But lots of people recommended this book to me and so I decided to give it a shot. After I read the
first 2 chapters, I couldn't get my hands off of it. The story was fantastic and inspiring. I liked the way how the author included direct quotes from
that time in every chapter, since it was fun trying to predict what would happen while reading them. I highly recommend this book to everyone around
my age. By reading this book, they will also realize that historical novels are as good as fantasy

one remaining. Another conflict is the conflict that Katniss has with herself. She battles with herself, unable to decide whether she loves Gale or if she
loves Peeta. For all of the contestants, they must decide who to befriend, betray, or kill.
6.Describe some things that happened as the characters tried to solve the problem.
While competing in the Hunger Games, Katniss is unsure if Peeta is on her side or not because he betrays her and joins the Careers; plotting to team
up and kill the weak. This make Katniss extremely confused, causing her to be uncertain of whether or not she will be able to kill Peeta since he is
her supposed star–crossed lover. She also debates with herself because she cannot decide if she is in love with Gale or Peeta. During the Hunger Games,

The book I am reporting on is The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien. The setting of the story begins in a place called Middle Earth. The story begins in Began
where Mr. Bilbo Baggins, a hobbit lives. Bilbo, thirteen dwarves and a wizard travel to Rivendell, Misty Mountains and finally Mirkwood. The book
was set before the Lord of the Rings but it is unclear exactly when. The story is a fantasy so time is not important.
The historical context of the book is post World War I, and the influence of the war can be felt in the many battles that happen throughout the story, with
good trying to defeat evil.
The narrator of the story is Bilbo Baggins. Bilbo tells the story from his point of view. The story is in third person and is omniscient.
The protagonist of the book is Bilbo Baggins. Bilbo the main character in the book, is a hobbit. He was scared to leave his home town of Bagan.
Bilbo was invited by dwarves to go on an adventure to find treasure that belonged to the them. Little was known about what could happen on this trip,

The book "Wonder" written by R.J. Palacio follows a young boy named August Pullman and his struggles in fifth grade. The struggle of being the
only kid who looks the way he does. The struggle of being the only kid at his school who has Treacher Collins Syndrome. Even with all the
obstacles in his path, August's overall experience at Beecher Prep has had a positive impact on his life. Not only does August have to deal with
bullies because of his facial abnormalities, but he also has to adjust to a "real" school. August was always homeschooled due to his 27 surgeries. No

And boy will I tell you Julian deserved it. With all the stuff Julian puts Auggie through Julian deserved worse. On page 267 Amos stood up for
Auggie by saying, " Leave him alone dude." It was really strange for Amos to do this since he was on Julian's side for awhile.
Near the end of the book Auggie feels accepted. On page 282 we find evidence of this when he says, "It was like I was one of them." When he says
"them" he is referring to the other students. Auggie could finally feel "normal" and it is necessary for August to feel this way because people have
always seen Auggie as strange because of his face. At a point August even forgets he hasTreacher Collins syndrome. On page 307 we find an example
of this, "I wasn't even thinking about my face. I was just smiling a big happy smile." August felt like it didn 't matter what his face looked like. It
just mattered that he was happy. For once, Auggie didn 't feel like everyone was trying to get away from him; on the contrary, he said, "It kind of felt
like everyone wanted to get close to me." (pg 308) August can finally feel like a "normal" kid.
Some may argue that Auggie's experience had a negative impact because of the bullies, but in the end he had everyone on his side. Plus with the

Point of View:
This book was written in 1st person since it used words/phrases like "I said...", "I wondered...", "I felt...". The point of view of the Narrator which was
the main character (Lenah) since it was written in 1st person was that even though she was turned into a vampire by a total stranger that soon turned into
the love of her life, she still wanted to be human. So when that happened she was happy, but when she was turned back into a vampire, she was

But of course it had to be blacks because no white person could do such a
low thing. The man mentioned skinning them as if it were no big deals and it was normal. With
Huck growing up under such conditions it is a wonder he even so much as talked to Jim the way
he does. Huck is a victim to this period in time where racism and white supremacy are as
strongly believed in as God himself.

What Is The Purpose Of The Book Striiff
One of New York's Best Selling Books Stiff by Mary Roach was a delight to read. I personally think this book was very informative, but in such a way
that the reader wants to keep reading. Not only was the book entertaining and informative while reading, but it seemed as though time was not be
mentioned, because of how fast the book went by. Starting off with the introduction part of the book was a bit longer for me to get through, but
after I passed that part, I really enjoyed the rest of the book. I would recommend this book to anyone because even if you don't have an interest in
the scenes behind it, it is a book you will find quite enjoyable to read. I was introduced to a lot of information behind the science for cadavers. All
through the book we are introduced to a few important people whom will be important or seen throughout the book. Mary is the one telling the story
she talks about the process each job takes. All while she is also experiencing everything for herself as well. The author starts off the book with an
introduction paragraph which is where we begin to get the feeling of the book for itself. She starts it off by talking about death and how we could put
