Key Achievements
In 2009 the LSCB Business Manager post was vacant for 1 year and I held sole responsibility for
managing and ensuring the Board remained effective. I showed initiative whilst prioritising and
managing a heavy work load without line management guidance.
In 2010 I was the administrative lead for a Local Government Peer Review project.
In 2011, I was seconded at very short notice to project manage the administrative support for the
Brent OFSTED Inspection. High commendation came from both inspectors and senior managers for
my work.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Support and coordinate the management of the LSCB, its sub groups and task groups;
Arrange regular multi-agency meetings, prepare agendas, take accurate minutes, edit and
format reports including other related papers such as The Business Plan and The Annual
Report;
Provide day to day office support arrangements for the LSCB including dealing with telephone
enquiries, responding to requests for information, diary management, drafting letters, and
emails;
Liaise with a diverse range of people including the public, practitioners, Senior Managers
Directors and Councillors on a strategic and operational basis to facilitate their engagement in
promoting and maintaining the work of the LSCB;
Manage the development, organisation and implementation of successful and well attended
LSCB Training Courses, Annual Conferences and other large events;
Maintaining quality financial and management information systems for the LSCB to monitor
and report on a budget of approximately £250,000;
Sole responsibility for the development, design, maintenance and monitoring of the LSCB
website;
Coordinate and oversee the full process of conducting a Serious Case Review when required;
Ensure that all LSCB Policies and Procedures are up to date, maintained and accessible;
Regularly record, extract, analyse and report on data with an understanding of the impact this
data has on influencing positive changes to service delivery that improve outcomes for
vulnerable children & families;

Key Achievements
In 2005, I worked as part of the Brent Museum team that lead an extensive and very successful project
to redesign and relocate the former Grange Museum to Willesden Green Library Centre. This project
required strong project management skills and teamwork.

Managed the development, organisation and implementation of exhibition launches and other
large events;
Managed all customer queries and complaints following the Council's policies and procedures;
