It is with pleasure that Fielding Graduate University would like to offer you honorary
appointment as a Marie Fielder Fellow, effective immediately through September 30,
2019. This honorary appointment does not include compensation or any monetary
benefits.
Appointment as a Marie Fielder Fellow at Fielding Graduate University is intended to
reward individuals whose scholarship and concern for social justice exemplify what we
want to cultivate in all of our students. By offering an appointment at the Marie Fielder
Center to exemplary scholars such as you, we create a network of visionaries who
advance their work and distinguish themselves in their respective fields.
This appointment is renewable through September 2020 after a conversation among your
faculty mentor, the Director of Sponsored Programs, and yourself. The first conversation
about renewal will occur in June 2019.
As a courtesy, Marie Fielder Fellows are entitled to the following benefits:
o Grantsmanship Training
o Business cards
o Listed info on public and private online directories
o Participation in special projects that speak to social justice
In addition, there will be occasions during the year when you may be invited to
participate in events on behalf of Fielding Graduate University. We will also include you
in opportunities to work on special projects at the Marie Fielder Center that are
compatible with your interest, including some financial opportunities associated with
them.
