Welcome to Wipe Your Tears Charity Newsletter
Wipe Your Tears Charity is a small charity which has grown from humble beginnings. Our
only aim is to help as many children as possible. Being able to give a child that little bit of
hope and courage to get through their difficult times is worth more than anything to us.
Giving a child time to laugh and smile when most days it is difficult to do so is what makes
Wipe Your Tears a worthwhile cause.
“If you Wipe Your Tears, we will help you smile”
Trustee : Mr Kevin McCoy Patrons : Natasha Hamilton & I Am Titch
“Kai WILL Walk”
You may remember Kai from our last Newsletter, Kai is 5 Years old and was awaiting SDR surgery. We are
thrilled to be able to announce that Kai’s original target of £24,000 was smashed and his surgery took
place on Friday 27th May 2016 at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Kai and his mum are clearly thrilled that
he has now been given the opportunity of a lifetime and a chance to be able to walk unaided. Continued
funding is required to assist Kai with his post-operative physio sessions, we look forward to continuing
to work with Kai and his mum to ensure he receives the best treatment possible. Thank You to everyone
who fundraised, donated and attended events which were held on Kai’s behalf, everyone has had a great
time and really put the ‘FUN’ into fundraising. We will keep you updated on Kai’s progress over the
coming months.
