The president's newsletter discusses upcoming events for the club in 2019, including a parliamentary vote in their country and club project planning. It wishes members recovering from ill health a continued speedy recovery and hopes everyone enjoys time with family and travels safely over the holidays. Membership efforts inducted a new member in December and will focus on gaining another member in January from an organization partnering with a medical trust. The club also plans to attend the next Rotary International Convention in Hamburg. The newsletter details a solar oven donation to a community project and delivery of food packs to that community.

I wish all our eClub members a wonderful Christmas and
festive season – no matter how you celebrate this
blessed period.
It has been a very challenging year for many with ill
health, and we wish you continued speedy recovery.
2019 brings exciting times: a parliament vote in our
beautiful country and many happy times planning and
executing club projects.
I sincerely hope for you all that you enjoy great health,
that you enjoy your family and friends in a loving way
and that whatever you plan, it is a success!
Quite a number of the members will be travelling – so do
so safely and have a fun time whatever you do.

3. Rotary International will be hosting the next Convention in Hamburg and quite a
few of our club members are going…. Have you booked your place yet?

4. Sasego Cares Foundation donated this solar oven t a project many years ago and because of the
success of the community project, new more modern ovens have been purchased. So this oven has now
been donated to Coligny where the community is currently incubating new businesses. The oven is being
moved from Mathibestad and it will be donated to Rev Tewie’s church / community. The photos below are
the team who first used the oven being donated.
