“The school need to act as public space for student, teachers and
communities to participate in a conversation about the sorts of
future that are in development. It needs to become a place where
people can come together and examine what the trajectories for
their communities and their children might be. It needs to build
the capacity of individuals and communities to critique,
challenge and contest the visions of the future they are presented
and to advocate for better alternatives.” (Keri Facer Learning
Futures 2011, p. 88) *this book is available for staff to read.
