Monday 7/3 Day One. Staff Meeting SLT led (pm).
Individual and Class Photo’s (staff photo at 8:30am in
hall).
Interim Reports should
have been completed.
Tuesday 8/3 Day Two. Arts Meetings (am). SLT Meeting (period two).
Year 7/8/9 Planning Meeting (pm). Kiwi Day Out 8CD
and 8RW.
Peer Support in 2b (11:30)
Wednesday 9/3 Day Three. Staff Briefing (am). Year 7 & 8 Planning
Meeting (cancelled due to parent interviews tomorrow).
Kiwi Day Out (tramp to Maratoto) 8FM and 8VL.
Thursday 10/3 Day Four. Year Ten Teachers with Dean (am). Parent
Interviews (4pm – 7pm) this is for 7&8 Homeroom
teachers and Y9 Learning Advisors.
Friday 11/3 Day Five. L3 OUD tramp to Sentinel Rock. Mufti day (gold coin
donation for Fiji disaster
relief)
Things that can be done this week…
 We are looking for staff to take on the Year 12 ‘ART’ (Achievement, Retention, Transition) students for 2016. These
are Year 12’s who we identified as being in need to support to target gaining 80 Level Two credits. A list of these
students will be presented at staff meeting on Monday.
 Parent Teacher Interviews – for those teachers Year 7, 8 & 9 teachers. Double take on the student’s progress (lastest
formative testing results, the books, their homework etc. The website is www.schoolinterviews.co.nz the accessed by
login ‘waihi’ and password ‘Collaboration’. For parents the event code is ‘pe2m6’
 Meeting with your appraiser and moving through the initial phase of setting your personal goals.
 Thanks to those staff with their congratulations letters.
 Specialist Classroom Teacher – this role is being advertised from Monday. Closing date for applications will be
Monday the 21st March.
 Reminder to stick with the bells. Be vigilant from 3pm onwards as there are students sneaking out of classes.
