3. Title
The title I used was inspired from the rock magazine ‘Classic
Rock’
I used this type of title because I feel that the type of font and the
font size work well with the magazine I am doing.
The font is simple yet it can be easily read and so customers will
be able to recognize this type of title on the shelf.
4. Image
The main image takes up the majority of the page as I
feel it is the most important thing on the front cover.
Just underneath the tittle I have a selling line “UK’s
newest Rock”
I have located the selling line underneath the masthead
because it follows the convention I am using
5. Cover analysis
Eye contact is very important as it engages the reader
and makes the connect them with the magazine.
Over my front cover I have many cover lines, this is
important because it tells the reader what is inside the
magazine.
I placed the cover lines on the side because I didn’t
want it to take up my image
7. Analysis Contents
On one of side of my contents page I have all the
details which are inside my magazines
I have left my contents page fairy open because I didn’t
want the reader to feel crowd
I have used the same font as on the front cover, this
keeps the theme going throughout the magazine and
links everything together
8. Columns
On my contents page I used one column. I did this
because it allowed me to put the images and text
together well.
I used a small font because if fitted what most
magazines did. It also allowed me to have enough
room to add other details
9. Contents page Title
At the top of the page I put the Tittle of the magazine in
a bold font. I did this because I didn’t want to overcrowd
the reader’s
I didn’t write ‘contents’ at the top of the page because I
feel that it would have ruined the page
11. Article
On one side of my article I have all the questions and
answers, I did this because I wanted a the other side
for my photo and my tittle.
I put the tittle of my magazine in small font because I
didn’t want it to be the center of attention.
I put the singers name in a large font because I reader
to be drawn to it.
12. I have so added a little extra information at the top of
the article. I did this because I wanted to make sure
that everyone knows something about them
I also made sure that the writing did not cross the
centre of the page. This is because it would make the
writing very hard to understand when it is bent
13. The questions are in bold writing because I wanted the
reader to know what were the questions and what were
the answers
