What is conflict ?
Types of conflicts

• Interpersonal conflict refers to a conflict between two
individuals.
• Leadership Conflict Dealing with different leadership
styles, may cause irritation and confusion.
• Interdependency-based Conflict Often times an
employee has to depend on someone else's co- operation,
input or output to get their job done.
• Work Style Differences
Everyone has a different style
of working to complete
assigned tasks.
• Cultural-based Culture is
defined as a set of values,
practices, traditions or beliefs
a group shares.
• Personality Clashes
Personality clashes at a workplace
are generally fueled by
perceptions about someone’s
actions, character or motives.
Task Conflict occurs when two
parties are unable to move
forward on a task due to
differing needs, organizational
policies, distribution of
resources, or means of
completing a task.
Miscommunication Conflict
A lack of communication can
lead to misunderstanding, which
in turn can lead to mistakes and
missed deadlines.
