Reasons of going into this business and why will
it be successful?
The market in the current state has an overflow
of traditional arts and crafts which is being
accepted worldwide. Launching an idea like ours
in the current fruitful scenario would benefit us
in the most positive way. Especially in the home
décor market it would be a very new experience.

Location: East Champaran, Bihar.
Business location: Our location is chosen on
the basis of few criterias:
It should be close to Harayana so that raw
materials for draperies could be sourced.
Labor could be sourced from madhubani and
places nearby for other embroidery arts.

Land and building: 40% of the land is
provided by the government (as we are
providing free training services for women to
study the art and craft) with already
constructed building which has been
renovated to our requirements. Out of the
rest 60% of the land 20% is purchased and
the rest 40% is taken on lease.
Leased or owned: 20% of the land is taken on
lease for further development.

Office equipment: Equipments and
machineries are both bought and taken on
lease. The machines used in the washing and
embroidery department are taken on lease
which would be bought as the business
grooms.
Raw materials sourced: Fabrics, Threads,
Paints, tapes and trims, machine oil etc.
Suppliers for raw materials: Mahajan
Overseas for Fabric sourcing.

When and how is the plan monitored for the
successful growth?
Every 2 weeks the HR would sit with the
employees and would analyze the entire
activities being monitored to know the pros
and cons of the business and would sit with
the Central planning to come up with more
viable options to control expenditures and
loses.

Risk analysis: The risk could be possible as
there are other competitors like Surya
enterprise who are already established
players in this domain. But the risk lowers
down when we add a touch of embroidery to
the madhubani paintings making it different
from others.
If risks are true what is plan B: We can
introduce madhubani paintings with
technology which would be widely accepted.

Future prospects: for future prospects we are
planning to introduce the Kids range and
expand our business to various other states
and make it international aswell.

Concepts:
One of the concepts which we would like to launch as a
sample in a small controlled environment would be
introducing ‘BURKHAS’ worn by Muslim Women with our
type of embroidery and madhubani art. These days we have
been seeing a vast fashion consciousness amongst the
women wearing burkhas with a lot of embroidery work on
their garment. There are swimsuits as well which have been
introduced covering the entire body which is been worn by
them. So, introducing our concept in Burkhas would be
something which could be accepted by the women. This
would not only be a fashion statement but also introduce the
art in other countries as well as it can be acclaimed
internationally too.
