Products. Up Cycling Is The Great Concept To Protect The Country From Pollution. I Have Used Old
Denim Jeans And Create A New Look From Old Denim.
Not For This I Worked Upon One More Collection Which Is Based On Indian Art And Craft . I Designed
The Garment By The Taking The Tie And Dye And Block Printing Together.

WHAT IS COLLECTION
A collection is a range of garments , accessories or products that are designed and produced for sale to retailers or
direct to consumer . This range of pieces may be inspired by a trend , theme or design direction reflecting cultural
and social influences , and it is usually designed for season or particular occasion . A collection is a grouping of
outfits or looks that are presented in a variety of ways , from catwalk presentation online web pages. Collection
are usually constructed from a combination of silhouette’s colors and fabrics with the emphasis varying depending
on the designer’s particular aesthetic.

It is possible to group or identify common themes in fashion, those which influence the creative process in
developing a collection , or how we choose to wear clothes , recurring influence include traditional
costume,active sports, work wear, the military, politics and futurism.
Each new collection can explore a subtle redefinition of these recurring influences through the use of

First I Need To Identify The Customer , There Need And Requirement As Well As Market Level. Stuided About
Element And Principal Of Design Which Helps To Achieve A Good Design. I Can Choose Pantone Color Chart For
A Color Story , Because It Functions As Both A Trend And Color Forcasting , So, It Helps Me To Identify The
Color.
My Client Is College Going Girl . Her Age Is 15-25 Years . She Is Tall Slim And An Energetic. She Needs A Skirt , Top For A Multiple
Purpose Occasion . Looking At Her Needs, I Need To Make Her Look Attractive , Confident, Energetic, Bold , Elegant As Well As Kind .

INSPIRATION
My collection is based on indian art
and craft.I can experience the
variety , vibrancy and discreetness
of traditional indian art crafts as
there are a myriad number of
things.so I Was Very Much Attracted
Towards The Art And Craft Of India
for this collection.

INTRODUCTION OF TIE AND DYE
Tie And Dye , Batik Is A Resist-dyeing Process For
Creating Attractive Coloured Designs On Fabric. How
Ever While In A Batik, Resistance T Dye Penetration Is
Provided By A Coated Layer Of Wax, In The Case Of Tie
And Dye , This Is Achieved By Knotting , Binding,
Folding’ Or Sewing Certain Parts Of The Cloth In Such A
Way That The Cannot Penetrate Into These Areas When
The Cloth Is Dyed.It Is Hand Process By Which Intricate
And Attractive Patterns Can Be Produced.
In India The Tie Dyeing Method Is Generally A Cottage
Industry And Is Known As Bandhani Or Bandhej.It Is
Often Used For T- Shirt , Dresses , Skirt , And Other
Garments And Also In Furnishings Like Pillow Covers ,
Table Cloth , Bedsheets Etc.
Tying The Cloth Or Knotting Is Called Bandhejor Tie And
Dye. In This Procedure The Cloth Is Tied With A Thread
Of Thickness Greater Than That Of The Cloth. After The
Tied Cloth Is Dyed And Dried, The Ties And Knots Are
Opened. As A Result We Get Different Colourful
Patterns On The Cloth. The Art Of Tie- Dyeing Is Most
Popular In Various Regions Of Gujarat, Kathiawar,
Rajasthan.

INTRODUCTION OF BLOCK PAINTING
The First Textile - Painting Technique ( Making Impression )
Was That Using Blocks With Raised Printing Surface , Which
Were Inked And Then Pressed On To The Fabric. By
Repetition , The Image From A Single Block Builds Up Into A
Complete Design Over The Fabric Area. Some Early Blocks
Were Made Of Clay Or Terracotta , Others Of Carved Wood.
Wooden Blocks Carrying Design Motifs Were Found In
Tombs Near The Ancient Town In Upper Egypt. A
Combination Of Block Printing ( Usually Described As
Penciling) Was Used For Some Time. The Biggest Problem
Was That Of Achieving Bright And Fast Colours. Madder Was
The Most Important Dye That Was Able To Satisfy The Need.
The Major Centers In India Were Block Printing Is Done On
Large Scale Are As Follows:-
