Funding for School Operation: funding sources include
but may not be limited to grants, donations, tuition, and
fundraising initiatives.
• The Cost of attendance can range dependant upon
whether it is a Public or Private Montessori school.
Private Montessori education can be expensive because
tuition plays a big part. Tuition can be $11,000.00 and
up. Public Montessori schools on the other hand are run
by a lottery system.

3. Student Population
Student population varies on a whole from one Montessori
school to the next.
However, here is what some typical class sizes can look
like.
• Infant/Toddler Class: 10-15 children
• 6-9yr old Class: 20-30 children. This class consists of all
different ages which can span a difference of about 3
years.
• The population as a whole is usually one of diverse
background
