Self–awareness occurs when the individual knows
what he is feeling in the moment, and using those
preferences to guide decision-making, having a
realistic assessment of his own abilities and a well-
grounded sense of self-confidence.
How to be self aware:-
Know your own mood and how you feel about it
Know your own emotional strengths and weaknesses
Know words (signs) for your feelings
Know what action options you have (what you can
do about your feelings)
5. SELF-REGULATION
This involves handling our emotions so that they facilitate
rather than interfere with the task at hand; having
conscientious and delaying gratification, to pursue goals;
recovering well from emotional distress.

6. EMPATHY
This is related to sensing what other people are
feeling, being able to take their perspective, and
cultivating rapport and attunement with a broad
diversity of people.
