3. What is ICT?
 ICT stands for Information Communication Technology.
 The phrase, ICT was coined by Stevenson in his 1997
report to the UK government and promoted by the new
National Curriculum documents for the UK in 2000.

4. What is the meaning of ICT?
 ICT refers to Technologies that provide acces to information through
telecommunications. It is similar to Information Technology, but focuses
primarily on communication technologies.

5. I.C.T
 ICT covers all the technologies used for the handling and communication
of information and their use.
 ICT covers any product that will store, retrieve, manipulate, transmit or
receive information electronically in a digital form. For example, personal
computers, digital television, emai, robots.
 ICT is concerned with the storage, retrieval, manipulation, transmission or
receipt of digital data. Importantly, it is also concerned with the way these
different uses can work with each other.

6. What is the difference between
information technology and information
and communication technology?
 ICT covers all forms of computers, networks, information etc.
that IT covers and it also has an extra focus on all forms of
communication incluiding telephony, mobiles, wireless networks,
middleware, other enterprise softwares, audio visual systems
that movement or manipulation of data.

7. What are the ICT tools used in
Education ?
 ICT is the Information an Communication Technology. ICT in
Education means Teaching and Learning with ICT. Educational ICT
tools can be divided into 3 categories: Input source, Output source
and Others.

8. What can Teachers do to get the most out of
ICT in the Classroom?
 Be trained in technological literacy and have confidence in
using technology.
 Have pedagogical aims
 Carefully plan lessons to cater to the needs of learners
 Improve the quality of subject teachning and learning

9. How does ICT factor in to Education?
 Authentic and up to date information
 Access to online libraries
 Collaborative learning
 Access to variety of learning resources

10. Why is ICT Important for me?
 ICT is Important because all new things that are added are possible by
ICT for example: App (Whatsapp), Chat ( Messenger or Facebook),
Snapchat, Twitter etc. You can easily communicate. Also because of the
work that my Father does.
