CSR-B controller
ELECTRICAL ACCESSORIES
DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION
The CSR-B drivers are the regulators of the
constant pressure intended for cooperation with
duct and roof fans with AC and EC motors.
By smoothly adjusting fan speed, they ensure
constant vacuum before or constant pressure
behind the fan. The built-in PI system with
adjustable settings allows to adjust the dynamics
of pressure regulation.

The CSR-B is available in two versions:
—— CSR-B XC1
—— CSR-B UL EC
Both controllers are based on the PI regulator.
The XC1 model has a built-in transistor speed
regulator (for AC motors) and more extensive
interface (more options). Both controllers have
the option of setting a fixed fan speed and
programmable upper and lower limits for fans
settings.
FEATURES
—— The CSR-B controller allows for a smooth
control of fan speed in order to ensure
constant under-pressure or overpressure
value in the ventilation duct. It provides
a stable performance of the system,
regardless of the degree of opening of the
ventilation grates. It is adjusted to work
with fans and grates from BROOKVENT.
—— The night setting allows to reduce the
vacuum value set. It makes the system
comfortable to use in time, by reducing the
noise when intensive exchange of air is not
necessary.
—— In the XC1 version, it is possible to program
settings in day, night and weekly modes:
5+2d; 7d. In 7d mode, you can set 4 zones
(settings).
A built-in weekly timer acting as a clock
controlling the entire system. This function
allows to enter e.g. night settings.
—— The built-in LCD or OLED display (UL
EC version) with an easy-to-use control
keypad that allows you to read all the
performance parameters of the system and
quickly change settings.
—— Integrated support for MODBUS RS485
communication protocol, for remote
viewing of system performance parameters
and its change of settings via master
Building Management System (BMS). The
function is available in the XC1 model.
—— CSR-B indicates the following alarms:
The CSR-B-XC1 mode:
– serial communication block alarm,
– real time clock alarm
– pressure regulation failure alarm,
– transducer pressure alarm,
– no serial communication alarm.
The CSRB-UL EC:
– settings saving failure alarm
– transducer pressure alarm,
– RTC module error alarm.
—— The power switch on the housing allows
maintenance work with the fan (CSR-B-XC1).

APPLICATION
Applied in BMV AC to turn on / off and regulate
fan speed. It is possible to control several fans, if
the generally used current does not exceed the
accepted limit for current consumption in the
regulator.
DESIGN AND CONTROL
The regulator stands out for its precise control.
You can turn it on/off using the control knob.
Regulation starts from the minimum possible
voltage point (at which the fan rotates firmly)
up to the maximum point. The minimum
speed point can be set by setting the regulated
potentiometer.
The housing is made of plastic.
SECURITY
Input circuit in speed controller is protected
against overload (load) by the replaceable fuse.
The regulator is fitted with a high frequency
interference filter.
MOUNTING
The regulator is intended for wall mounting. It
can be surface or flush mounted. The necessary
accessories are supplied in the set - a mounting
box.

PDI/PDT roof base
Roof base for flat roofs is made of galvanized
steel sheet. There are two types of bases
available: PDI - insulated, it has 10 mm thick
(PUR foam) insulation inside, which prevents
condensation and PDT-silencing with 50 mm
thick (mineral wool) insulation.
Flange around the base allows to mount it
securely to the roof.

TLE flexible acoustic silencers
DESCRIPTION
TLE flexible acoustic silencer is made
of a perforated cable. The applied insulation is
25 mm thick and it is covered with aluminium
and polyester coating. The silencer is connected
using metal flanges which are used as nipple.
They are available in two lengths of 600 mm
and 1200 mm. Silencers can be made on
request: with seals made of EPDM, with sleeve
flanges or of different lengths.

DESCRIPTION
Tight CAR return flap is mounted inside the
ventilation duct. It effectively protects against
unwanted phenomenon of vent air reverse.
APPLICATION:
It is particularly suitable for ventilation systems
in apartment buildings, on vents from cooker
hoods, as well as in other ventilation systems.
CONSTRUCTION:
Return flap is made of galvanised steel, throttle
blinds are made of aluminium. It is equipped
with an internal seal that ensures its tightness
and reduces the noise of the blinds. The flap also
has an external seal made of foam, that provides
easy installation and sealing inside the vent duct.

APPLICATION
Flexible couplings are intended to eliminate
vibrations transmitted from the fan or other
ventilation devices to the ventilation system
and to partially compensate ventilation ducts
created as a result of temperature extensions.
Applied in ventilation devices in the temperature
range from -40ºC to +80ºC.
CONSTRUCTION
Flexible couplings form 2 mounting frames
joined together with a material that isolates from
vibration.
MOUNTING
Installation of the flexible couplings into the
ventilation system is carried out using the
mounting frames. They are mounted using
galvanized bolts and clamps.

KFO duct filter
DESCRIPTION
KFO duct filter is applied to filter air in round
ventilation ducts. The KFO duct filter is a box
made of galvanized steel, closed from the top
with clips. The housing has mounting connectors
with seals, made of EPDM. Special design of the
KFO filter allows for easy exchange of the filter
cartridge.
In the standard version, it is delivered with EU3
class filter.
KFO duct filter can be equipped with a filter
cartridge of EU3 or EU5 class. You can order
the filter cartridge as KFO-I filter frame or
KFO-W creased filter, which has filtering matt
secured with galvanized steel wire mesh.
