This document presents information on gearless power transmission. GEARLESS POWERTRANSMISSION WORKS ON “ELBOW MECHANISM”.
IT IS A RIGHT-ANGLE CONSTANT VELOCITY JOINT, IN WHICH RODS BENT 90° ARE
ABLETOTRANSMITTORQUEAROUNDA CORNER.
4. WORKINGOF ELBOW MECHANISM
IT TRANSMITS THE POWER BETWEEN TWO SHAFTS WHOSE AXES ARE AT 90°. IT
USES THREE BENT LINKS WHICH SLIDES RELATIVELY ACCORDING TO THE MOTION
GIVENTO INPUT SHAFT.
THIS SLIDING MOTION OF THE BENT LINKS IS CONVERTED INTO THE ROTATIONAL
MOTION OFTHE OUTPUT SHAFT.
