The idea is to provide the best platform to bridge the gap between dog owners and
reliable services. There is a constant struggle between work-life balance and knowing
what is best for your dogs, and this is why we offer services such as scheduled
veterinary visits, dog walks and grooming, etc.

As a result of the constant struggle between a good work-life balance and knowing
what is best for their dogs, the dogs consistently lose out on the proper care they need.
User Centered Design (UCD) is when designers focus on the users and their needs
in each phase of the design process.
User profile page to input data for the user and their dog.
Finding verified veterinary services that can also be in-house.
Users’ access to multiple services such as grooming, walking, etc.
An online shop to get natural, safe & effective products and supplements for their dog.
Save vaccination, deworming, other records and appointments on the app.
Likewise, dog owners cannot trust random vets and caregivers. They are unable to find
good health services and constantly have to note important appointment dates in
written cards that can get lost, torn, etc.
The Groomer app allows dog owners keep track of their pet’s patterns, health records,
diet & activity and have access to other resources needed to take care of their dogs.

The central aim of the research was to identify and understand the problems faced by
target users and categorize their issues, concerns and needs. This was in order to
develop a user centered application.
After Phase 3: , I went on to draw out low fidelity wireframes on paper. This was
done to help me visualize and test early concepts, design requirements and
assumptions at the early stages.
Ideate
Once I was done with the low-fi wireframes, I proceeded to designing the high fidelity
wireframes as seen below. I made a few tweaks and adjustments to them as I designed.
I designed them using iPhone 13 Pro Max frames.

how to improve the process where necessary. Data was collected to determine the
users’ satisfaction with the app.

Conclusion
This is my first time since my transition to UI/UX Design that I have thoroughly followed a
defined design thinking for the purpose of a case study. I am proud and satisfied. Strict
adherence to a clear process structure from interviews and research to personas, ideation,
prototyping and testing emphasized how that a user centered design approach leads to a
solution that really solves users’ needs. This study also proves that the process of iteration
never ends, I have learnt that a constant connection with users is key to keep improving the
experience.
Really looking forward to learning more so as to improve and create better projects that
solve user problems.
